This means that the MLS Cup will need to be held early that year.
Will European leagues suspend their seasons, or will teams play without star players? Nice to see the issue on those leagues for once.

With WC2022 starting late November, it would mean that players are away at least the entire month.
MLS will have to be very careful how it schedules the season as the mls cup will need to be when the season is ending this year.
Will they reduce the number of games played (likely no)? will they schedule more mid week games (hopefully, but that tests depth in a league where depth is very hard to establish)? Will they do away with the all star game and meaning less mid season competitions like the ICC?
I guess that's good for MLS.

Nah its 7 years out, so many things are going to change and with Sepp being finally investigated Quatar 2022 isn't going to happen at all, no one wanted to have a tourney in that shithole but those who took bribes.
I would be shit smacked shocked if the World Cup were actually to be held in Qatar as planned by the corrupt weasels of FIFA like Sepp Blatter.
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)
