Drogba appears to be the real deal. Altidore, not so much.

Meh....dude has as many goals as Defoe did last season and ya'll want to bury him. We would have killed for a player like that before Giovinco. As would any other team in the league.

In other news, DCU will be missing Doyle and Birnbaum for the next match they have against NYCFC next Friday night.

I think 5th is most likely. Montreal now go on 4 game road trip.

The speculation out there is that they have not adjusted to a clamp down by the league on cynical fouls off the ball and an increase in yellows for intentionally fouling somebody to stop a rush at their defence.

That and there "hoof it into the middle and hope" offence stopped working.

DCU's final three games are home v NYCFC, home v Chicago and away at Columbus. They probably will finish above TFC but only barely.

In better news, Montreal's next four games are away, ending with TFC back at home. Who knows how that will turn out. Kinda difficult to see how this will all shake out.

Got a little bit of help tonight with Portland beating Columbus and New England drawing Philly.

Salazar almost helped us out with his first awful PK call for Vancouver, but then "made up for it" with an equally awful one for NYC to give them the win.

Montreal is going to be a very dangerous first round opponent.

I would not want to go up against them. They're on a tear right now, and Drogba is killing it. No way to predict who plays who at this point. Both the Impact and TFC could be moving up the standings before all is said and done.

Mtl has 4 away games straight plus couple of mid week games. Fatigue is going to catch up to them eventually.

I'm always shocked when players pull that bonehead move when already on a yellow card.

Equally funny was all the SJ players standing around Garcia to block the ref's view as he put his shirt back on, as if the ref would forget that he just took it off, swinging it around his head as he ran into the corner.
