We are seriously lacking in this department.
I went to all games during the Ex and got to game with no issues. The worst game to get to this year was when they shut down Lakeshore for PanAm Games (Jamison Exit was also closed). I left super early, took me over 2 hours to get to the game, I made it at kick off but there was less then 1000 people in their seats.

I'll tell you what the "narrative" is: totally biased/negative toward Yallop. This endless "MLS 2.0/3.0" crap is nothing but some form of discrimination based on age, or the way the guy sounds, or some kind of CMNT complex or inferiority complex, or something. I don't know what.

He is a decent coach who had a bad stint in Chicago but had a decent record for a long time before that. He deserves better than what he is getting from pretty much everyone here.
What is it about yallop that makes you think he's the guy for the CMNT?

To be perfectly honest with you I've mostly stopped following the nats with their endless level of hopelessness. The CSA (cheap target I know) simply can't get the pipeline going and the player pool is very weak. Any improvements we do make are negated by other concacaf teams improving more in comparison.

I'm not sure any coach will be the magic bullet but I fail to see the appeal of Yallop.

He would play the MLS guys, for a start. Sitting Osorio and playing some guy from the Israeli fourth division, that was unreal.

Beyond that, even if you think he totally failed in Chicago, Yallop is by the best Canadian coach out there, and given where we are, I think I'd like to see that. I could see bringing in a hired gun if we were close, but we need to build something over many years here. No way Floro is that guy.

All of the sudden, things are getting real interesting, and not in a good way for TFC. Absolutely need 3 points today - anything less, and it will be white-knuckle ride from here on in, if it isn't already.

    GAME DAY!!!

Gorgeous weather today - 20 feeling like 23 winds out of the east at 21 kmh

    TTC - SRT Closed

Road closures - just the usual Gardiner missing a lane thing

Blue Jays game today is at 1:07.

A reminder, show up 15 minutes before the match and you have a 1 in 12000 or so chance of getting your season's free next year. Hey - its beats the Lotto Max and its more fun when you show up early.

    We can do this.

    We have the superior team.

    Their midfield is a wreck.

    We are at our pitch.

    We have our supporters.

    Time to step up.

One guy does not make a pool, I know, but I find it ironic you posting that just hours before....

Cyle Larin is the new all time leading rookie scorer in MLS history.

There is positivity in the nats team. No different than the lean years at the club level.

How can guys be getting hurt by sprinkler heads at the training ground?

Somebody needs to take their job more seriously.

    LOL!

Wow our keepers are truly brutal. A pylon would have done a better job as it wouldn't have moved out of the way.

    And 40 seconds????

Why can't we have nice things?

edit- bad breakdown in midfield but Konopka must save that. If we don't upgrade from Konopka/Bendik then fuck this management staff.

Perquis was close enough to close that down before it became a foray, but he'd already turned his back. If we have Williams and Perquis at center back in the playoffs, I can't see us going far. Assuming we make it.

Playing to Toronto fans is a home field disadvantage. The stadium is three quarters empty at kickoff; how do people think that affects the morale of the two teams?
