If we keep up the effort level we had the last two games, I expect a positive result tonight.

A positive result? If NYCFC doesn't walk away from this game without psychological trauma I'll be disappointed.

If Perquis starts I expect NYC to score at least one. Also it would be embarrassing to fail to beat an expansion team in three tries.

Idk I feel a big win coming. All the shots we had last game... if we can minimize the downright boneheaded mistakes and play like actual professionals I think we can cruise in this one. Minimizing boneheaded mistakes seems to be a theme this season tho. Overall I think the tactics have been solid but some of our players just can't keep calm. If we do get steamrolled then this team deserves the hate that will come.

I think we are in for a playoff intense game. Good.

This is what we have been waiting for since that game in New Jersey a few years ago.

Games in September that mean something.

NyC has a worse back line than we do and generally an underwhelming roster. I'd expect to win this.

You are coming to Montreal on October 25th right?

In the past, that's why I would exactly expect us to lose 5-0. However this year is different than previous years so anything is possible.

I sure hope it's not accurate! Looking at the strength of the two rosters, in my head I know that TFC is the stronger team and should beat NYCFC in their home field, but my gut is warning me something is going to happen. Please, no injuries to our DPs! And Kries already beat them once...

I guess this is what 9 years of TFC PTSD will do to you. It's going to take me a couple of years to get over this.

Have we played the same defensive line for more than 2 consecutive games this year? Real talk...

3 games in 8 days, I think we're just trying to give guys a break. Well that and our backline sucks...

NYC starting both Pirlo and Lampard, which I think is a mistake, Poku on the bench and Villa is not in the 18.

This absolutely needs to be 3 points. No excuses.

More like perquis got benched for suckling so much.

If there is one stadium to play 3 in the back, it's Yankees stadium with narrow pitch.
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
