Yeah mean like pitchers of Cool Lager at Sneaky Dee's? Basically a beer flavoured colon cleaner.

I don't know, I drank somewhere til 4 am that was serving $10 pitchers of "lager". I thought it was peel pub but really i could have been anywhere, I had been awake for close to 26 straight hours at that point.

I have to be in montreal on the weekend of the 31st for a reunion, and I'm probably going to this game, so I'm secretly hoping Montreal ends up fourth and we end up fifth so I can just spend the whole damn week there. Not impossible, just need Montreal to go on a streak and for Columbus to crash a little bit.

Edit: given the schedules of us, colombus and MTL, this doesn't look like a far off possibility at all. Gonna be a great fuckin week.

So far no and I doubt that there will be one unless MLSE organises one.

The hotels since spring have been pricey for this date ......and I believe there's a Raptors game on Fridsy night , for me a bit more exciting than Leafs . However it's always exciting in Montreal with them .

If anyone is looking for a fun afternoon on the Saturday, the Concordia McGill football game is at 2 pm at Molson Stadium. It should be a good one with it being McGill homecoming.

There really is nothing much near Stade Saputo.

Best area is downtown, area bounded by Sherbrooke in the north, Rene Levesque in the south, Guy in the west and St. Denis in the east.
Get a place in that area you can walk to anything, you just have to take the Metro(subway) to the stadium for a cost of $6 for a two fare ticket.

Well this feels weird. After lurking here for 5 or 6 years, I have finally registered. Anyways looks like my wife and I will travel to Montreal for this game. She's all in and sat through the rain last Saturday and the Columbus game in 2013 (Weedman goal) Looking forward to Montreal as the game could be meaningful and looks like there is a real buzz there with Drogba. See you there. p.s Via tickets on special pricing Tuesday

you won't regret it ....it's way more fun than Columbus , the stadium is fine , subway there is a good ride and takes you right to the stadium, finding food and drink places are half the fun .Read with threads for tips like getting a subway pass for the amount of days you're there etc. Remember be prepared for any weather ? Like hockey there is a rivalry btw us , so the game will always be important .
