Theres contact details in the thread for Jerermie, who's dealing with us. Give him a call. Tickets were like 20 bucks plus 1 dollar fee or something like that.

Latest update from Jeremie is that roughly 150 tickets have been sold. And 400 are reserved for us for the time being. Spread the word folks !!

I'd imagine there will be a mini surge closer to the time. Even if we have clinched, and I REALLY hope we have, we could be playing for a home game, or even a bye. I'm sure there will be a load of people who will turn up if something like that is on the line. Oh and we could potentially knock MTL below the line. Who wouldn't want to be there for that

And Jesus H, they're still $10?!?!?! The big pitchers?!?!? (They might have actually been $6 back then, although it might have been $5 worth of water and $1 worth of beer).

That's closer to the stadium where the Montreal fans drink. I'd go downtown if you're looking for red.

Maybe they were 12... it looked and tasted like a home brew, I think it was just called lager. I think they also have $2 or $2.50 shots.

So what's the best bet for accommodation? I'm going solo and am thinking of a hostel or at the very least something cheap on airbnb.

Fairly sure there's a hostel right downtown close to Grey Nuns. On Mackay or Guy south of st. Catherine.

Looks like Google only displays the private room prices, not the hostel room bed prices.

IMFC only have to hold tickets for us up until this Sunday...after that, they can release them as per MLS rules

Do they still have the 'old' Peel Pub on St. Catherines, and the 'new' Peel Pub on de Maisonneuve?

Keep in mind this was the 80s, so it could be long closed, but the new one backed onto teh old one and (if still there) is about twice the size. Entrance just off the corner of de Maisonneuve and Peel. Very plain, though, just tables and pitchers and a lot of McGill and Concordia kids getting shitfaced for cheap. Had live bands in the eighties. Sons of the Desert used to play there often.

EDIT: The old one was decrepit thirty years ago. Remember getting pissed there at age 11, on a school break from Grade 7, because back then Montreal bars would let in anyone with a halfway decent fake ID. Bob Gainey almost pissed on me at the urinals by mistake.
