de Vos is right about this, why are so many players forward when they have the point? Then the usual cascade of defensive mistakes and Seattle scores.

Agreed! The save was huge. Many keepers would have stayed back and been beaten by the shot. Konopka was pro-active and made a top notch save, as you say, by making playing big.

It was unfortunate he couldn't hold it and Konopka will be very angry at himself for not holding it but the blame is on the defense for getting caught up in the first place.

Findley showing his age. Looked like an old man trying to find his keys that play.

DeVos just said something like "Toronto throw too many men forward and are vulnerable to the counter". Best analysis he's given in ages.

Is this an all-time record for Canadians on a field at once in MLS?

Simonin unfortunately (who has been fantastic) and then Williams (was it) for being nutmegged by Martins ... and then Zavs got out-muscled.
imho if cheryou or warner was in the game they would have covered it. no dm, both oso and bradley forward. That was what enabled the break. can we get laba back, lols.

Williams needed to run across Dempsey there. He slowed likely because he assumed The Beard had it.

Agreed. We are really missing a proper holding MF'er.

Good performance from TFC but Williams cost us a point - frustrating!

Hey we ended the game with 4 Canadians on the pitch, so that's nice.

    This

Our best wasn't out there. Heck, our second best wasn't out there.

Learn from the efforts and the pairings and move onto a much tougher opponent next week.

Simonin was caught snoozing on the martins run that resulted in the goal. Zava should have chopped him down.

Carl Robinson would likely have given Chris Mannella a chance in this game. I thought Hamilton looked lively but Chapman was really poor. This was also the sort of game it would have been nice to have Osorio really step up in and show he is a difference maker at this level.

    Bradley had a shite game.

Overall though, very impressive performance. I was expecting a blowout, but ended up biting my nails till the final whistle. On to the next one.

LOL No. He'd play someone like Deybi Flores.

Chapman should have slotted in at DM imho. He is young, has decent pace and likes to stick into challenges. I didn't like Gomez starting though he is slow and not good at all holding up. Also, our backup strikers can't head the ball. I counted 5-7 perfect balls from morgan. I can't believe im saying this but rob friend from a few years ago would have been a beast in this gamew. We havent seen good headers since koevermans.

nah, martins pushed off him to make space, he should have gone down. Would have gotten the foul.

He would have been a better offensive sub than chapman. However Chapman should have slotted into DM

We played an elite team even on the road.

I declare this to be a mostly meaningless moral victory.

Keep forgetting that game was on that awful turf after the rain. Ball must have been skipping all over the place.
