Why would he stay if he's not playing in their games?

Why not? Mingle with friends, coaches... Enjoy his home for a little bit.

yeah, fair enough. Might not be the worst thing to give the guy a well deserved few days of rest in Italy right before the stretch run.

Yes and arguably should not have been playing against Montreal either.

Is there any suggestion he had adductor problem going into Saturday?

Vanney indicated they were monitoring but its obvious Giovinco wanted to play. Guy is like Bradley - does not want to leave.

Dude was not going to be held back in case it made a difference to get the NT call up.

Agreed.......unfortunately . As for Osorio what's wrong with a Canadian refusing to lose . He was ignored for 2 complete games then when it was basically all over , played . Jokes . Watch the Canadian men's basketball they want to win and refuse to lose . And the coach feeds off that . Oh ya he's Canadian . Ha I'm angry . I'd NEVER ruin a kids desire to win over MY ego . Simply suck it up , talk to him later and you know he'll admire you for it . It's about the players and their development not the $&@$ coach .

Has Giovinco been hurt for a while now? I recall several instances during the past three games where he seemed to be favouring his groin. He has taken fewer shots during this same period, perhaps indicating he had a problem.

I believe people are talking about Domestic Players but really unless we're talking about trades it's not brought up as much.

Played in preseason and in Europa league so i assume he is over the injury.

Will be hard for him to break into the first team right now, was hoping he would go on loan in the championship.

Considering West Ham have played Reece Oxford(defender) who is a 16 year old more times than Henry I'm curious about why this didn't happen either. The new manager probably wants more time to evaluate him, if he isn't playing by winter he will be loaned out.

Well, he did pretty well with it, no?

Glad to see him succeed. I was getting tired of all the hate directed towards him. He's a good player.

Both Bradley and Altidore starting tonight against Brazil. A 4-5-1 with Altidore as the lone striker and Bradley as the AM point.
