Default MLS Other Then Us - 26th August through 30th August

Two matches tonight with two groups of disgruntled home supporters. Fire supporters in open revolt and Rapids supporters getting near to that.

Fire holding onto a draw at home against NYRB - Gilberto with an assist but subbed out at 60 - not looking fit enough. NYRB with a probably illegal trick corner to tie it up. A tie or a Chicago win would be good for us.

Colorado hosting Houston tied 1-1 after the first half.

Talk about a bogey team - the Metros/RB haven't won in Chicago for over 10 years (May 14, 2005). That is crazy.

Death Star runs into Kinnear's Ewoks

    Quincy Amerikwa finally unleashed.

Dos Santos and Gerrard looking like "this happens?"

Could have made a lot of money picking upsets this week.

you never rule out a Dom Kinnear team esp in last third of the season

San Jose has had an insane last two weeks. I don't get this league.

Try 4 straight wins and 5 clean sheets out of last 6.

If sj makes playoffs, they might be the dark horse esp w Kinnear who usually does well in playoffs

I also would have never thought quincy amarikwa would be the key to any offence

And in other news Ciman is out for the next 3 Impact games - International duty for the next game, then he's out for accumulation, then he's out for the second red. They'll have only 6 games after that.

Bradley Wright Phillips scored a beauty towards the end of the first half. DC playing like they're a man down... pretty sure they're not though.

Red Bulls looking far and away the best team in the East. Tireless high press, great combination play in every third of the pitch, Miazga a rock at the back and BWP a danger up front. Feels like forever since all their off-season drama.

Maybe we weren't so bad to give up 3 to them. D.C. should be down 4-0 at half if not for Hamid.

Why is nobody saying how crap DC is, that Olson needs to go, and all that other stuff people were spewing when we dropped a 3-0 to NYRB?

So many inconsistent performances this season, from a lot of teams. DCU looked like they were zonked on cough medicine for most of that game.

I have to say I'm impressed with Mike Grella as well.

Isn't it funny how two League One players are such a prolific tandem for the Red Bulls? Thierry Henry who?
