Default Game 25 - Tic Tac Time - TFC host Impact - Saturday Aug 29 4 pm TSN

Another big match and definitely a bigger task then the dudes in purple

Impact coming off a deflating loss to Philly where they tried to come out and play and got beat by some poor marking.

They travel to Vancouver for a cup match this week and are planning on taking Drogba along.

There is only one acceptable result in this game.

    WIN

You know, the Impact aren't that far behind TFC in Points Per Game (1.42 for TFC v 1.27 for IMFC). Sure, they have less points, but they've played fewer games than any other club in the league and that's what makes a TFC win all the more important on Saturday. Again, not wanting to throw cold water on the win yesterday against Orlando - but it was a home game against an expansion club who have picked up only 28 points out of 26 games and are enjoying a Goal Differential of -14. Montreal is a much bigger challenge for TFC and if we can pick up three points against them, it will do much more to shape our playoff fortunes. Montreal is also fighting to stay in the playoff race as well, so I'm expecting some heart from them next weekend.

Og is right, we need to pick up the full three points on Saturday.

Mtl tends to shit the bed at bmo field. Gotta be wary of mtl esp piatti if he plays. But I expect a win against IMFC scum

    Not going to lie,
i'm pretty amped up for this game.

    MTL is our biggest rival.
    We looked great.
CNE games are kind of fun.
    Altidore is scoring again.
    Giovinco is feeling it.
    Seeing drogba will be interesting.
there is apparently a mini-beer fest at the CNE on Aug 29.

People need to chill out, we beat an expansion team that was playing with ten men most of the game and then 9 men for the final two goals.

Gio had an awesome free kick but was really couldn't be himself playing as a solo striker.

They've still never won at BMO right? Let's keep it that way.

I don't see where people are losing their minds...It's ok for people to be happy about a win regardless.

I don't understand it either. I am ecstatic that after the past 2 very winnable games that we lost, we crushed a team that TFC could crush, you have to beat the teams below you and that are even or in the same part of the standings as you, that is just very basic winning attitude. I guess it is those that feel they are more enlightened they feel they must piss on the parade. I bet Zeelaw watched the highlights over and over and was giddy watching them. If he is a supporter why would he not be, the Twatfactor is coming in to play from some folks

You take advantage of situations and if the opponent goes down 1 or 2 men what are you going to do feel sorry for them and hold back, if it had happened to TFC I would expect to be blown out as well.

You were excited about the win, come on admit it, at least to yourself

Drogba (toe) and Piatti (calf) both not traveling to Vancouver for the Voyageurs Cup. Drogba is already confirmed to be available against us, Piatti remains to be seen.

It's always fun introducing people to real cheese curds for the first time. Especially bad ones. They'll never eat poutine again.

Capos have to come up big this game. Let's get quality chant coordination.

Don't care how many supporters groups there are. When we are together, no one can tell.

Damn shame. I REALLY want Vancouver to never win a Voyageurs Cup.

I wonder if Vanney will stick with the 4-3-3 (which is what we were playing last game - Bradley was playing further back than Oso and Marky) if he puts Altidore back in the XI. Maybe Altidore in for Delgado and a front three of Oso Jozy Seba and a midfield of Cheyrou, Bradley, Warner/Delgado

There has been no announcement of a travelling section beyond the normal option way up in the North East upper tier.

They really don't need to do anything special anymore for large away travel, I believe last year it was something 87 tickets available and this year i would imagine it would be a few hundred.

I haven't heard anything but i would imagine 50-100 traveling supporters. The number of Chelsea blue kits will likely and unfortunately outnumber Montreal supporters by a fair margin.

You mean Shanghai Shenhua, right? That's the other blue team he played for?

My younger brother has been Chelsea supporter for over a decade. Still coming to the game in TFC Red though.

Is there a march to the match by the way? I'm taking my brother to 112 for the first time and it would be awesome if there was a march as well. Makes the game day experience so much fuller

Gantar on the sidelines between Klopas and Vanney should be fun.
