Yep. I'll be furious if Altidore plays in the New England game. He's clearly not even fully recovered from the last injury he picked up there. Last thing we need is to have him make it worse

No and no. NE has a problem and the rest of the league knows it and it's always an honour to play for one's country.

Man, they should have a memorial wall at Gilette Stadium with the names of all the MLS players whose career ended playing there.

I'd question 'always' with respect to playing for one's country - I hope our players find the right balance between playing for country even in meaningless games versus playing meaningful games for the team that pays them and whose shirt they are supposed to wear with pride.

Good seba isn't playing but isn't jozy still not 100%.
I guess they want at least 1 toronto rep.

We can win without Jozy. Without Giovinco? dubious.

Altidore is fine. Smart that Giovinco isn't playing but I don't really get why they had him travel in the first place. Guess the league just wants him there.

Thought Morgan was injured in the Sunderland match?
If he is okay great, but do agree playing on that turf would not be a good idea.

That, plus Jozy still is an automatic selection for the USMNT when fit. The All-Marketing Game needs to live up to its billing.

Strain? Better then a tear. Expect him to be back to his self by the end of August.

    We are better with him.

    We can win without him.

Perfect! Miss the turf monster and get a little rest before playing the next game. Definitely doesn't sound serious.

7-10 days means missing 3 games including Orlando and SKC at home.

In theory he would be coming back for the August 15th game at NYRB

Well if he recovers in 7 days then he'll be good for SKC, who knows maybe he'll pull a Jozy and come back early

I think TFC just wanted him to enjoy some star treatment.
They flew both him and Jozy down to match in a private jet.
He'll get to take in the all-star "glitz and glamour" maybe get a bunch of interviews in from different media outlets that may not get a chance otherwise, eat at some fancy ass restaurants, go to after parties...etc etc.
