Perquis should look better next to our new CB - who should keep him in line and provide a sense of stability back there. Zavaletta is tidy but he's def not barking orders out.

Love the freak outs by people on here lol. 3-5-2 is odd tho.

We are creating chances and they are not falling. Defends still leaky... Par for the course? Delgado header was a sitter and giovinco could of had at least two on another day.

Vanney needs to go to normal formation just put lovitz at LB like at nycfc. Too much space between CM and CBs

Easy everyone. We are creating so we are still in this. We know we can score a lot of goals so let's go.

Edit- didn't see anything before 20min mark

Yes, but would anybody have perceived a game where we would have had 5 of our original 8 defenders we started with this season not available?

Like think about that for a moment.

Injured - Simonin, Morgan, Bloom, Caldwell (that's why he retired), Hagglund

Now, our best 4 defenders so far still are not all that good together. BUT, any team with that many injuries to their defensive core is going to have serious back line issues.

Cheyrou has been good as the anchor most of the season. Not sure why he's suddenly decided to not defend now. Maybe Vanney told him to get forward more, but he's the only one who can properly shield the defense

Columbus is so aggressively white trash. I don't know how many people have tried to tell me it's the bastion of creativity and culture in Ohio. That's not fucking hard when you're competing with Cleveland and Cincinnati.

And these are the people who ultimately decide American elections. I pray for those living on the coasts.

I'd push Warner wide right and drop Jackson to fullback. Keep Delgado in the hole if you have to, anchor Cheyrou - sub Lovitz for Osorio. Basically just show me anything that gets Lovitz off the field: he is fucking awful.

I'm kinda surprised how many good chances TFC had to score in that first half considering how bad they played

Would be interested in having Manella come in for Warner and sit in front of back 4. Have Lovitz off for Osorio.

    Have a back 4 of Morrow--Zavaleta---Perquis----Jackson

You can see Giovinco finds this too easy, feels the need to do something special whenever he gets the chance - just put the ball in the bloody net!

Even with all the injuries rather still manufacture 4 at the back and keep our midfield the same. Lovitz is no LB but 3-5-2 against a good team. ... Eep

Columbus has no decent defence and a big fat hole at the DM spot. They rely upon wave after wave of crosses and Kamara being in excellent form. Higuain has been invisible tonight I might add.

As per usual, there are plenty of mistakes on both sides. There is never perfection in the beautiful game only occasional excellence.

We had three good chances that could have changed the feel of the game. I would keep the same line up in the second half.

Bendik has earned my respect. There was nothing he could do on those 2 goals and he is responsible for a few decisions that could have made this a 4 or 5 - nil game in the first 45.

Let's see what our character is like in the second half.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

Have to agree with this. It's not the defense that's killed us, it's the midfield change that's letting them run through us

Yup, and get this...this is probably their best atmosphere all season (until the make the playoffs).

They'll be lucky to get 15K.

He's had three poor games in a row, counting this one. His tackling has been late and his ability to outlet pass almost non-existent. Can't be a holder and be an inconsistent tackler and shuttler of the ball.

What a bunch of garbage. Warner jumps out of his space someone else drives into the pocket, nobody picks them up and we get sliced open.

Yes, this DOES have to do with us having 3 at the back. We're getting fucking owned out there, and it's embarrassing.

Why is vanney forcing the issue?
