Hey
Remember how the Issey for Warner trade was the worst in ther world?
(Warner is a productive MLSer, Issey couldnt get a game in MTL or another club in MLS and is now in Asian)
LOL

Anyone know why Altidore didn't get the secondary assist on the Giovinco goal
Oh shit I forgot that they do second assists in MLS. I guess Giovinco did assist that Warner goal then
EDIT: Looking back, the last goal that TFC scored that Giovinco didn't score or assist was the second goal in the 3-1 win against Montreal a month ago (June 24). That goal was also scored by Altidore, on an assist by Bradley

This team is quite something.
Dude. I don't know how many times I can express this to you.
This league has a salary cap unlike most soccer leagues.
This is a great team under the circumstances.
Your observations are legitimate in a non capped league... in this league you are sounding off to detriment of your perceived intelligence.
Either you're trolling or not getting the idea of the cap in this league?!?... Which one is it?
Just went and looked at all the goals again.
Perquis decided to play DCM on that play. Ball went to our left and he jumped out of watching a guy to jump towards their one midfielder coming in (who was covered by Delgado). This forced everybody to shift left behind him and....Kamara is left open.
Their second goal is just dumb luck with a deflecton back and a great shot.
Their 3rd goal was Lovtiz not tracking back.
Our first goal.....where was their RB? Parkhurst ball watching. We overloaded their left but their RB went forward thinking Tchani had the ball. Jackson wins the ball to Altidore and then you know the rest.
Our 2nd goal....Giovinco's pass but their defence all went with Jozy while Mera didn't cover Warner well enough.
3rd goal....Altidore gets post up position and their defender goes flying. Altidore trys a pass for Seba but its a bit behind. Columbus guy CLEARS IT UP THE MIDDLE ON THE GROUND....a Creavalle move. Delgado takes the ball off of their one CM who was surprised to be dealing with this as against it being hoofed. Out to Lovitz, pass in.....push in the back (slight but seen em called).
Then their keeper tries to do rubber legs and forgets that he might need to jump.
i.e. Yes, our defence is bad. Columbus defence was just as horrid. I'm talking Creavalle like here.

Great grit and comeback by the boys. We will have to see if the new CB will eliminate some of our defensive issues at the back. However, I continued to be worried about our goal tending. I know it is hard to fault Bendik but he just does not make those key stops when we need them. We have 2 number two goalies and we need a number one. We cannot fix that this season but look for Bendik to be moved in the off season and we go find a number 1 goalie.
Really? I remember the good deflection on the Kamara shot but I'm open to hear more. Columbus didn't create much. 1-0 no reaction, followed by a free kick that barely missed which he also didn't react to. 2-0 the ball is side-footed near post, from distance, still nowhere near it. 3-0 kicked right at him, goes through. I'm not saying these should all be saved but as a whole picture I was underwhelmed and I'm not even a real Konopka fan but I'd have kept him in.
Great fight back to earn the draw. A point in Columbus is a solid result.
But holy fuck do we need to defend better. Hopefully Kantari and Perquis can form a solid partnership.
