A match with a lot in it.
Arguably the two best strikers in the league. Ethan Finley having a good year as well.
#3 vs. #4 both in the East standings and in PPG
Morrow returns to the place where he was given a rotten red card.
Lots to play for.

Should be a solid test in terms of where we're at right now. Columbus is a good team, slightly more well rounded than ours but without the same level of superstar talent (strong performances so far from Kamara and Finlay notwithstanding).
Contrast of styles. Columbus plays the most crosses per game in the league, while we are near the bottom in crosses and one of the highest centrally-attacking teams. They'll look to clog the middle and play Meram/Finlay wide for crosses into Kamara. This will be a big test for our defense as our backline has been pretty weak defending crosses this year.
Tough game indeed. This will come down to how well the defense fend off the attacks. I hope to see Cheyrou have a better game than the last one.
Im predicting a high scoring game. 4-3 win for the reds.
Sensing a draw here. 2-2.
Watching Columbus in the heat against the Fire so not looking too much into this performance BUT......they are not exactly a great defensive team either.
Could be the Kamara and Giovinco Goalasm Show.
I think this is the game for Giovinco's second Hatrick of the year!!!
Discussed at length on Voyageurs forum. Has been approached but can't be called now because he definitely doesn't have a Cdn passport now. Also may or may not be able to get Cdn passport in future with change in passport laws. It's too bad. There was an interview where it is clear that the US would be first first choice but where it sounded as though he would have likely accepted the Canada call if he could have.
I just realized I'll be in the Hamilton stadium to watch this Pan Am women's final. (Hopefully Canada is there?! Not holding my breath though.) We got front row seats -- benefit of ordering early. I guess I'll stay off the Internetz & watch the TFC game on MLS Live after I get home.
That's wiki. He bin asked. He declined. Wants to play for the Yanks.Finlay is eligible to represent the United States, his country of birth, or Canada, through his Canadian father. Finlay revealed in September 2014 that one of the two nations was considering calling him into camp in preparation for friendly matches the following month, but he declined to identify which country. About playing for the United States or Canada, Finlay stated, “If I had a choice, I was born in the United States, so to play for the United States is my No. 1 priority...but I think when you have an opportunity to play at an international level, if one avenue isn’t open and another one came knocking, it’s something that I would possibly look into.
Let's remember that next time he plays here against Toronto, shall we?

The only question is.. will we get a fair shot at this one or will one of our players be carded again and ruin the match? Really looking forward to the next few games.. lots of good eastern opponents where we can really start to make a statement.
Columbus Crew v Toronto FC
MAPFRE Stadium (7:30pm EDT)
REF: FOTIS BAZAKOS
AR1: Brian Poeschel
AR2: Peter Balciunas
4TH: Tyler J Ploeger
Bazakos is the Greek dude. Usually pretty good, but gave the red to Larin last week which made Heath go ballistic down in Orlando.
I would note that Petrescu is doing the Houston LAG game, and he usually lets things go a bit - Gerrard in for a bit of a welcome to MLS perhaps.
I'm generally happy with Bazakos. In either event its up the guys to score more. TFC!!
It's $1 beer and $1 brat night. Should make for an interesting night, keep a bucket handy.
Was planning on going but due to some changes in my plans, can't make this one now.
Hoping for a monster game here. A win here would be huge for the standings.
Unleash the formica atomica!
This match is a big one for us, as is the following one in New England. I'd love to see us take some points on the road.
Toronto FC baby...best team everrrrrrrrrr -Jozy
It's highly unlikely that we will get screwed by the officials twice in a row in Columbus so I'm expecting a hard fought evenly played match for 90 minutes.
Bradley is coming home :]
