Looks like Bradley didn't actually restructure his contract.

Looks like Bradley didn't actually restructure his contract.
As I said a few weeks ago, we won't know how that Bradley contract was redone. That and this is this year's number.
Perquis number is a tad eyewatering. And no way Cheyrou is only getting paid that much.
John Molinaro @JohnMolinaro 2m2 minutes ago
Some interesting #TFC salary numbers: Perquis on $372,500, Luke Moore on $235,500, Robbie Findley on $255,500
We also know that Perquis and Cheyrou are being paid down by allocation.
From Steven Goff at the Washington Post
MLS TOP 20 SALARIES
Kaka, Orlando City: $7.16 million
Sebastian Giovinco, Toronto FC: 7.11 million
Michael Bradley, Toronto FC: 6.5 million
Steven Gerrard, L.A. Galaxy: 6.33 million
Frank Lampard, New York City FC: 6 million
David Villa, New York City FC: 5.61 million
Jozy Altidore, Toronto FC: 4.75 million
Clint Dempsey, Seattle Sounders: 4.6 million
Robbie Keane, L.A. Galaxy: 4.5 million
Giovani Dos Santos, L.A. Galaxy: 4.1 million
Jermaine Jones, New England Revolution: 3.05 million
Obafemi Martins, Seattle Sounders: 3 million
Andrea Pirlo, New York City FC: 2.31 million
Shaun Maloney, Chicago Fire: 1.58 million
Omar Gonzalez, L.A. Galaxy: 1.45 million
Pedro Morales, Vancouver Whitecaps: 1.41 million

Federico Higuain, Columbus Crew: 1.17 million
Kevin Doyle, Colorado Rapids: 1.17 million
Innocent Emeghara, San Jose Earthquakes: 1.04 million
So, which one of these numbers should I care about again, base or guaranteed? Which one counts against the cap?
I like that the release gave away Dallas signing Ezequiel Cirigliano
Findley at 255K needs to go, what a colossal waste of money.
Does anyone know how long Gilberto's contract is? He isn't exactly lighting it up and if we have to loan him again next year it wont be easy on that wage.

Ashtone is making over 100k I'm not sure how I feel about that. And honestly I have zero problem with Perquis' salary I'd much rather have him than Caldwell on that money
These are decent numbers. With Caldwell off the books, Findley is the only one that's a massive money sink at the moment. We need to get rid of him as soon as possible.
Moore is overpaid for being a backup striker. I think he's a good backup, but that's too much money to pay a guy to come off the bench. We should do better in the off-season.
Zavaleta, Osorio, Morrow, Warner and Delgado are good value.
Also, Igboananike on 800k for the Fire... ouch.

We all know Findley's overpaid this is no shock, Bez really screwed the pooch on that one

It's a great deal for Cheyrou as well if that's his actual number. Still unclear on whether these numbers are post-allocation/transfer fees or not, and if they are when it applies and when it doesn't. For example, Omar Gonzalez's full salary is listed even though we know he's being bought down with allocation. So are these numbers for Cheyrou and Perquis accurate then?
From a quick look at the cap hits, i think TFC are way over the 3.49m max budget.
Morgan is fine at 100k. He's worth more than $70k and we're splitting hairs a few grand for a decent domestic when there are other elephants in the room. Namely Bloom, Creavalle, and Findley. Jackson and Moore are over paid but at least they bring something to the team. Not sure what's going to happen with Dike or Gilberto (because Vasco ain't keeing him) since we're on the books for them and they have no place.
The numbers reflect what they are getting paid, not their cap hit. Where it gets foggy is when it says Gilberto is getting paid 1 200 000. I guess it means we're paying his salary while he's on loan, but we have no idea if any of it counts against our cap hit. Obviously he doesn't count as a DP against us
The only real questionable one for me is Findley. When you look at Moore, you have to understand they thought we'd be without Jozy for Gold Cup and other international dates so we really needed an above average back up forward.
Will be interesting to see what happens with Gilberto. You have to imagine they are looking to make a cut rate deal to get him out of here.
Cheyrou is an absolute steal at that price.
Morrow's deal is pretty good as well.
Findley's is terrible, as is Creavalle.
Moore and Jackson are not great either.
Zavaleta is pretty overpaid, but I'm guessing that's still his Generation Adidas deal, so if that's the case no worries there.
I know.
The point is, that even with Caldwell off the books, they can't have much budget flexibility.
RE Gilberto
Kurtis Larson @KurtLarSUN 2h2 hours ago
I'm told Gilberto appears on TFC's MLSPU salary figures because TFC still owns him. Reds aren't paying him, though.
John Molinaro @JohnMolinaro 2h2 hours ago
Gilberto listed in new salaries numbers (they still own him), but #TFC isn't paying his salary.
Zavaletta and Crevalle aren't overpaid by any means.
85k & 109k budget charges for depth is perfectly adequate.
Do they? Marco Pappa moved from the Eredivisie for 75k? And Espindola is making far more than 175k but there's transfer silliness in the way of his real number coming out.
Way too much smoke and mirrors stuff with these numbers as usual. I long for the day where a team signs a player and tells me exactly how much money he's getting for exactly how long. Sigh.
My question is how can LA add Dos Santos for 4.1 million as a DP when Omar makes 1.2-1.45M. Even with the paydown from the Core DP rules, isn't he still making a DP wage aka over the league maximum? Or is the rule all fudged up? What is stopping us from keeping Gilberto or someone in that price hit because he makes similar wage to Omar?
Creavalle isn't necessarily overpaid for the place Vanney has slotted him into so far, but he is overpaid for the quality of play he has delivered, which has been terrible.
At $115.6k Zavaletta could be considered slightly overpaid, in MLS terms, for being a young guy who is only in his 3rd pro season and has yet to have a season where he's played in even half of his team's games.
Compare him to guys like Hagglund, Delgado, Bekker or Akindele who all make less.
But that's exactly what the Generation Adidas contracts were created for, and if it doesn't count against the cap, I don't have a problem with it.
Apparently if you look at payroll totals, we have the highest payroll in the league. by about $2 million, if you take out Gilberto.
Our 3 DP's are making more then every team's whole roster then NYCFC and LAG.
Giovinco is making more then the entire rosters for every team buy NYCFC, LAG, Orlando and Seattle

Little tidbits
There is a pool keeper still.
There are 3 players at the end of the list that apparently are still being paid because they were on Chivas.
Compared to past years, our salary structure is actually reasonable. Findley's salary is the only albatross that stands out in my opinion.
