Default Other MLS Games Weekend July 17-19

Tonight 11 pm LAG hosts SJE - some dude ya'll might have heard of plays his first MLS game

    Saturday

NER hosts NYCFC - Lampard unlikely to play due to the rug

OCSC hosts NYRB - should be interesting with Kaka coming back but Orlando losing another player in a meaningless friendly

SKC hosts Impact - Impact in trouble here I think, will Ciman play well

FCD hosts DCU - GAME OF THE WEEK - #3 vs. #2 as far as PPG is concerned. Heat will be a factor

SEA hosts COL - The Plastics host the no hopers

RSL hosts HOU - two teams in transition

POR hosts VAN - Cascadia clash always a bit of aggro

    Sunday

Possibly two dudes you all may have heard of if Gio plays. LA looks far and away the most solid team front to back.

LA have scored 19 goals in their last 4 home games. And Gio hasn't played yet. Class of the league.

And unsustainable in a cap league. I suspect only Dos Santos will be there in 2 years.

Will be interesting to see how they fit players in. Keane, Gerrard, Gio. Zardes is away with the US. Juninho. Even this Lletget guy appears to be quality. Real logjam of players in mid and up front.

We drop to 3rd after NYRB win, back 2 points but with a game in hand. Massive game next week standings-wise against Columbus.

Who wants to bet the league does nothing about Gerrard's studs-up stamp on the Eathquakes player? MLS discipline is a joke.

That was a pretty weak straight red.

The NYC shin kickers got the result they deserved. What an ugly game they play. The Revs were fortunate to hold on, but NYCFC are just brutal.

Good to see the Limp Act lose. Jacob Peterson looked solid for SKC.

Hopefully, for the sake of watching them, Pirlo and Lampard will bring a bit of classy play to that team. Cause right now, they are grinding out ties and near losses.

    Columbus penalty 12 seconds in.

Columbus with a set piece off the kickoff - kicked up to Kamara to head to Finlay running. Gotta watch that one next week although Chicago's defence is pretty slow.

And Villa has been disappointing with so much flopping. I guess he always did it, but I don't remember it being this bad when he was at Barcelona. Maybe Busquets overshadowed him

Haven't seen it but Jason Johnson apparently got a 2nd yellow for diving in the box.

It's been a turn of fortune for the Canadian strikers with Tesho scoring for Dallas for the winner vs DC.

    He was over the moon.

Did see it. Was weak ass shit and Columbus knew it too. Columbus manager gave Johnson a pat on the back on his way out as it to say "We feel for you." It's possible to call that but changing the game like that should be for a darn good reason. Most refs let stuff like that go.
