Default August 15th away game New York Red Bulls

So I'm trying to plan a weekend around that game and I can't seem to find a contact for away supporters tickets. I contacted the box office and the usual supports section 220 is either sold or the guy I was talking to didn't have access to them.

Does anyone have a contact number so I can get some tickets?

Everything I've read is its about a 30 min subway ride (depending on where you are). But there's a bar called the football factory that runs buses from manhatten to and from the game for $22 / person. I did that last time I was in chicago and met some pretty cool Fire supporters.

    Doubt its sold out.

League policy is all teams have to provide an away supporters area to anybody who calls. I'd call back again and ask to speak to somebody that has acccess to that area.

Red Bulls are a pain in the ass to deal with, they make it quite endevour to get them. One thing they always ask is if you are from a supoorters group, which means you are overseeing a group buy. Last year it got sorted out after a number of phone calls. Be patient , it will work out.

I bypassed the ticket sellers and got a hold of someone in fan services. Looks like the person that coordinates away supporters will get back to me tomorrow.

Is anyone else planning on going down for this game?

Thinking about it. Even have the weekend bookended but got to look at flights and accommodation. Also want to get touristy in NYC a bit.

So I just spoke with someone from the RB. You are correct in them wanting a single point of contact. I have no problem being that person IF we can get the message out between all the supporters groups...unless there's someone from the RPB who did it last year and wants to do it again.

Ok. I started the process. I will have a promo code that we can use to purchase tickets directly in the supports section (220). Once I have it I'll post it. I've already let my guys in 116 know that I'm taking the point just to get this process up and running.

Anyone know how much tickets are going to be ?

Might have interest from a couple friends.
Would we have enough for a bus or are people flying down ?

Gonna be at this one. First and probably only away game of the season for me, not including playoffs.
