Funny thing is when you win 4-0 or 3-0 or 2-0 you don't seem to think your team's defence is bad.
There are supporters with NER and NYRB and LAG who think their defence can handle Seba. Its binary thinking - no goals means great D line. But that feeling is out there - specifically with the Red Bulls who are coming to the conclusion that Miazga is going to be a stud in Europe in 4 years.
^ I never noticed him. why do you say that he plays too tight? I am truly interested, because one of the many problems with MLS defenders is that they do not get tight enough in the box, they to often have to react, instead of getting on the attacking player taking away space, balance and room to maneuver.
I'm not wading in on the MLS defending debate but I have no idea where the Yedlin and Henry were sold for $1.5m combined came from.
Yedlin to Spurs was $4m alone.
He might go 20G/20A
You could see that the ball never changed direction from Giovinco's shot so the goal should be awarded to Seba.
Goal By Jonathan Osorio or Sebastian Giovinco?
Looks pretty clear that he touched it....

Osorio asked MLS to review it and also he did not celebrate like he scored it so he is basically saying that he did not touch it.
It curves into the goal after it hits the post and looks like Oso scored it although he did not.
I just hope this goal does not take away the golden boot from Seba.
US hype train often overrates their own; Zardes, Trapp, Thompson to name a few. Not Miazga though, consistently goes up against very good players and dominates them. Has made Connor Lade and Damien Perrinelle look really good in that back line with him. He's not that physically gifted so he doesn't stand out as much as guys like Waston and Gonzalez, but he's arguably already more of an intelligent player than either of those two.
This thread title is now official and a little bragging rights from me, that I predicted this in May.
How TFC's Atomic Ant made MLS history

And Seba gets to 20 with the goal given to him.

That is awesome, you have to respect Osorio for urging the league to review it. Thats class.
It took me some time to make this GIF, so may as well repost it here since it's one of his best goals.
When I first saw it, it looked like the ball made a slight change in direction after Oso. But looking at that Gif, I think if it touched Oso, it would have changed the spin at least. Clearly the spin doesn't change at all. GOTY right there. If it doesn't at least win GOTW, there is no hope for fans on this continent
Seba has now been credited with the goal upon MLS review.

EDIT: Should have read the prior page. Haha.
Nice. Happy for Seba. True competitor that wants that golden boot. He deserves it too
