Warner's a lot better when he's playing box-to-box. He's not really on the wing today.

So what kind of formation are they going with then? My stream is pretty bad ... I can't tell who's who until the commentators say their names

we've being going with a 4-4-2 diamond the last few games. Cheyrou as the DM, Warner/Creavalle, Osorio at the two Cm positions. Bradley in front of them. Bradley's with USMNT so Osorio moved up to AM.

Right. So then why put Warner out there in an attacking role? Seems an odd choice.

He has a decent passing range and is pretty athletic. Has shown some skill on the ball too. He's better as a supporting CM who has to attack and defend in equal measure than shielding a backline by himself. He's not that good positionaly.

I literally groan every time Creavalle touches the ball. So atrocious. And right as I type this he misses a sitter.

Warmers been very good as a "wide" MF. More so in the play sturdy help the team way as opposed to bombing up and down the flank.

Over the years one of the failings of TFC coaches has been that they almost always prefer to play veteran players out of position as opposed to younger players in their proper position. It never works out. This is another example.

I really don't think it's that. No one has really given Warner a negative review since we switched to this formation. One of the failings of TFC coaches over the years is refusing to adapt and get the best out of their players. This is an example of us finally doing so.

I have to say something though. Gio scored, and for about 10 seconds, nobody even ran up to him to congratulate him. Osorio sauntered slowly up but that's it. I hate to say it but I've been feeling like there are some issues between Gio and his teammates. I see him yelling at them a lot and acting out in frustration when a pass goes bad.
