Yes. I am genuinely baffled. Zavaleta has been playing very well, then ducks to let the ball to their striker. What was he doing?

I wonder if a DC player yelled "let it go" and the new kid fell for it. Perquis looked at him like he was on crack. Zavelta did ad ood job of not letting it get to him for the rest of the game though

Agreed with your comparison with Henry. I think we're been burnt so many times by injury prone DPs who miss half the season because most good DPs in this league play at least 90% of the games every season. Lord know how well we could have done with a fully fit Defoe last season.

Who care's about Da Foe any more! We've got Altidore with size, skill, movement and Giovinco who's light years better than Da Foe ever was.
