With all that has been going on today, thought it would be fun to look back at 2007 when the Reds were all fresh, new and excitement overtook BMO Field. Funny story about Andy, it 2009 on my footy trip to the UK, I went to see Yeovil Town at Leyton Orient. Andy was playing for Yeovil Town. I had a picture of Andy's celebrating his goal in the rain vs. Houston. When I showed it to him his eyes lit up and grin appeared, he expressed how much he loved playing in Toronto and forcing his way out was a mistake. He had to show it to a bunch of his Yeovil teammates before autographing it for me. Great to see how much TFC can mean to those even after they leave.

Wow I cant believe Attakora was making 12.9K in his first year, the high school dropout flipping burgers at McDonalds is making more than that. He wasn't even over the poverty line, yikes!

That's a great anecdote - being there for that goal was one of my great memories from the early years too. A rainy, windy night against the champs and we got the result... ah, innocence!
(As a nostalgic aside, I happened to be sitting behind none other than former Raptors play-by-play man Chuck Swirsky when Danny D scored The Goal, and high fived him before throwing my cushion. My ultimate Toronto sports moment!)
