Anyone have any suggestions on how to get to BMO from Barrie without a car?

You could try that, I would offer a ride, but my daughter is at a dance comp in Collingwood this weekend.

Saturday can not come soon enough, the start of a busy week at BMO. Looking for the 3 pts., without Jozy someone will step up and make things happen, gotta believe that.

Not with Moore up front! He couldn't step up and score in the first row at the Brass Rail!

    I hope we see:

    --------------------Konopka----------------
    --Bloom---Hagglund--Perquis---Morrow--
    ------------------Cheyrou------------------
    --Warner-------Bradley-----------Osorio--
    ---------Giovinco----------Moore/Hamilton-------

but I think it will be something like:

    ----------------Bendik----------------------
    --Morrow--Hagglund--Perquis--Morgan--
    -------Warner-----Cheyrou---------------
    --Creaville---Bradley--------Osorio-----
    -----------Giovinco----------------------

I think Vanny would be crazy to touch the midfield. Our build up has improved and Bradley has been re-energized since his move higher up.

Moore is going to start in place of Jozy and that'll be it. This is Moore's last chance to impress in my opinion. Another invisible performance and I would start Hamilton.

Bradley hasn't reenergized. He's played the same way all year, except instead of doing every single job in the midfield he's able to rely on Cheyrou to play sole CDM position, which allows him to focus on moving forward.

I didn't mean he literally had more energy or anything like that. He's just been more involved and been more effective since the switch.

Hopefully Vanney can do with Moore what Nelsen did with Gilberto last year when Defoe went down - get it into Moore's head that he has a fantastic opportunity to shine. He won't be subbing in for an injured guy this time; he'll be coming in knowing for a week that he is starting and is expected to make something of it. Hopefully he's been working pretty hard with Giovinco in practice.

Not that it's a good trait but I was wondering if Luke Moore's lazy ass playing style is because he gets tossed in for garbage time and for Amway matches and is a bit disgruntled or down on himself or his role. His body language, minus away last week at NE, has been horrible this year. He was better than this last year. I agree with some above who say that he could do a job for us while Jozy is gone. Biggest question is whether or not he will take the opportunity and do the work that it takes to have on field success or go back to his patented walk, mope, & trot game.

I think I understood what you meant. My point is that he has been effective in the various positions. This latest one is just more focused. The fact he scored a goal of course makes people think he's now playing better, but in reality (my opinion) he's been in fine form all year.

Well, Hamilton made the projected starting XI from the TFC twitter page. Probably doesn't mean much, but interesting.

I saw an interview with him a little while ago where he more or less said he's financially comfortable and North America is about the adventure.

Maybe he's just not hungry? /wild speculation

Moore is just fine. He has a different style compared to Altidore and that's alright. The guy can hold up the play and make passes and he can find the seams to make a good run. Let him play a few games where he's not coming off the bench.

Agreed. He's a central hold up player.

Weather forecast not changing. 16 degrees at game time with that temp holding until probably the second half of the TFC II game. Jacket and sunglasses weather.

    16. That's the important part.

because jacket and shirt just became optional.

I would like to see Hamilton get the start over Moore....but I think Moore will get the start just for seniority reasons but I am sure he is on thin ice to stay in the starting 11. I think Hamilton may come on as a sub for Moore so Vanney can see how he will do and also since Moore doesn't have the 90 min engine. If Moore is dragging himself around at the 90 min mark without Hamilton getting in I will be pissed.
