Exclamation SUBWAY CLOSURE THIS WEEKEND MAY 9TH & 10th

    Heads up to all,

there will be a subway closure this weekend on the Yonge University Spadina line 1

there will be no trains running from Downsview to St. Clair West with shuttle bus running in between those stations.

With Kick Off at 5pm hopefully everybody can get there in a timely fashion.

Also Dufferin Street will have lane restrictions all this summer from the 401 to Eglinton Ave as they add new sewers and repave.

Also due to a few work projects, the lake shore EAST Go Trains are operating on an hourly schedule.

Good thing my kids are player escorts this game and I am forced to be there at 1:45 or I would get caught up in all the chaos that is about to go down with public transit and people driving because of it.

Just be aware that the Yonge Street 10K finishes down around Fort York as well around 12 noon - but shouldn't be an issue come game time

According to the Go Transit website, the work only affects Lakeshore East, the West service (Altershot/Burlington/Oakville) should be on the half hour.

So Lakeshore east folks might want to give an extra hour or 2 just in case there are delays on top of the schedule change.
