Don't understand why Gio and Altidore can't play 2 games in a week. They can rest vs. Man City, or in the return leg if we go back with a lead.

Since the second leg is only 3 days after the home opener hopefully they're resting now so they can play at home next week.

I'm surprised how little you guys care about CCL qualification ..
The young players will get their chance during the Gold Cup and when we get hit with more injuries.
Plus, we pretty much have the playoffs locked up at this point.

We need an away goal and to not get blown out. This is about not losing it before next week. I would prefer a big win, but even a 2-1 loss is not too bad. 3-2 is as good as a draw.

I suspect Gio didn't travel as they want a healthy, rested Gio to "wow" the crowd at the home opener. That, and an injury to him in Montreal would be a less than ideal situation for the opener for them. Lets face it, a lot of people are showing up on Sunday to see him play.
