more evidence of how bad was Nelsen was at getting the best of of his players. Nelsen had a positive effect on probably just Hagglund, and was detrimental to many others.

Is it just me or do Giovinco's celebrations not look very passionate?

All that work nearly undone by a simple error.

Well, luck went our way for a change. I'll take that however we can get it. 1-0 on the road at the half.

Nah, not just this goal. Look at any of his goal celebrations, he doesn't really celebrate.

Is it just something he does? It may sound premature but I'm kind of worried he's unhappy to have gone from a club like Juventus to Toronto FC.

I've actually watched that. He celebrates others goals a lot and his own just has a quiet bit of satisfaction.

He's in it, just in his own way.

Considering the Defoe saga it's gonna be a concern..all we can do is win to alleviate any possible doubts

Giovinco's goal celebration will change once this team starts getting on a run and starts climbing the standings, I feel he realizes that it's not the time to celebrate like crazy not the time yet.

Nope. He's happy to be here. Big money and he's the main man and one of the best in the league. He just doesn't celebrate like a nut. Watch YouTube videos of his goals in Italy and all his celebrations are like that. He acts like he's done it before

his play on the field and his obvious integration with the rest off the team of the field should be evidence enough that he's fine here, let's leave it at that. Because Defoe thought he was getting the Beckham treatment doesn't mean every other DP is that delusional. He's here to play and build something.

The trio of DPs we have are an interesting set. Many years left in the tank as opposed to the older guys who will only give a couple of years at best. If this works for us we could be in for many years of these three and their teammates doing good things. Every match together they get better. I've read complaints about us not getting guys like Kaka or Gerrard, but my preference is for guys like these. Not as good as Kaka and Gerrard five years ago, but more durable and as good now.

Vic Rauter not the greatest but did soccer in the old CSL in the late 80's and 90, also did a lot of Canadian National Team games back in the day, still prefer Rauter over boring Nigel Reed.

nigel reed was from the era when MLS thought every commentator had to be english or scottish.
although i do miss his "WHAT A GOAL!" call.

what's the point of doing the "T-OHHHHHHHHH!" type chant here in philly?
i mean.. it makes sense for us, but when it's just "wooooooh-OHHHHHH!" you're not really singing anything.

The worst part is you know each of them reads the profile of the other team before the game - otherwise offers nothing in terms of knowledge of MLS
