I'm beginning to like Altidore, he's our lumbering beast with great finesse.

Good work. Professional performance all around.
I'll take this. Six points out of this road trip is alright. If we can get a point in Philly, then my minimum for an acceptable start will have been met. One point per game on the road is decent.
And Hagglund is lost...
Toronto FC baby...best team everrrrrrrrrr -Jozy
Point a game or better now possible with the 7 game road start. Finally taking advantage of a team they should beat.
Let's keep it in perspective: we needed to play a conservative defensive game to beat an expansion team. However, we did play a conservative defensive game with reasonable success, so cudos to vanney and Fraser.
for me, Altidore, Jackson, Bradley, Morrow, Morgan looked good, Gio had some moments too. Hagglund looked iffy today.
6 points in 5 road games so far, like it or not folks, we're on a good track. this league is notoriously hard on away teams.
if we manage to grab another point or 3 from our next 2 matches we'll be in an awesome spot for the home opener.
For the record, since the trade...
Defoe - 3 goals in 12 games
Altidore - 4 goals in 6
That's how you win on the road. Looked rather Ryan Nelsen-ish. But I'll take it. Good job guys.
Thankfully Orlando made a lot of mistakes tonight. Good on TFC for taking advantage and grabbing all of the points.
If we can get any result in Philadelphia then it will be a pretty good start all things considered......
^ Thanks for the correction... even better!
Decent performance. Great result. Orlando were very poor.
That's how you beat a possession oriented team on the road in humidity.
We should beat that team twice at home when we play them in August.
TFC is averaging 2 goals a game, and all away. Altidore 4 in 6
Bendik also had a great game
Years have gone by and Ive finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: A pretty move, for the love of God.
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I dont give a damn which team or country performs it.

What a relief!
Regardless of how good/bad Orlando are/were, that's about a good as a performance that we could have hoped for on the road in that heat and humidity. It wasn't pretty at times, we gave them a lot of possession, but we did the job, took our chances and came away with a 3 points and a clean sheet. That was a confidence boost for all involved, coaching staff, players and fans. Hopefully we can build on this.
They need to concentrate on the defensive side of the game like they did tonight and start from there, you just can't concede the way they were conceding the last few games. It was not a pretty performance but then when you have been conceding like this team was, playing pretty is not the objective working on keeping the ball out of the net is what is needed for now, the firepower up front is there as we saw tonight and in previous games, lets keep going forward for now working on the defensive side of the game like they did tonight.
A good sign today that TFC are learning to dig in for the win. They can score and now it seems they can defend.
Got to say tho that Orlando were very poor
This team makes me so manic - so relieved I can't even describe it. If we ever got to a league final I'd probably lose my marbles.
Would have liked Giovinco get more service. That second Altidore goal, though, filthy. Should be up for GOTW.
Great job from the boys tonight! Exactly what we needed - a clean sheet and a couple of goals from Jozy.
Now lets beat Philly and bring the show back home!
C'mon you reds!!!
If we keep performing this way, more Nelsen than Vanney, we will start to get results, and that is good. But, we should have made adjustments sooner and should have taken points v RSL and maximum v Chicago. Fortunately, that's unlikely to matter.
however, if the coaches have decided clean sheets first I am all in favour. Good to watch tonight.

Great two goals by Jozy. Looking forward to being in Philly next Saturday for the final game of this 7 game stint on the road to open up the 2015 MLS season. It will also likely be Ashton's 100th appearance with the club, being the first player to reach the century mark with the Reds.

John Molinaro @JohnMolinaro 4m4 minutes ago Talking to Vanney now. Praisng Ashtone. Said he can still play at him LB and Morrow at RB. #TFC
That's interesting, thanks for the tip! Normally MLS Live should be blocked outside of North America, I'm surprised that the Germany setting worked?! (When I was actually in Germany two summers ago, I couldn't watch any MLS Live games.) I tried UK via TunnelBear tonight (as well as US & Canada), none of them worked.
Armen Bedakian @ArmenBedakian 1m1 minute ago I asked Greg Vanney about Jackson's shirt. Says it was an oversight, equipment crew tried finding a replacement long sleeve. #TFC #MLS
