This off-season list is actually not all that daunting, and should FINALLY allow for some consistency from one season to the next!
    Agreed on all counts.

I wonder if Manning/Bez will want to spend for a better GK. I think they need to.

Pretty hilarious that RBNY is doing better since withdrawing funds. Although with Grella being Grella, he'll be demanding league max at the first opportunity. Can't say he doesn't deserve it though.

That would be amazing. One of my favourite keepers in MLS. The problem is, who would we lose? Does RSL need CBs?

They would take Bendik or Konopka or Bono + allocation.

Rimando signed a new 3 year deal at the start of the season.

He also opened a few sports bars in Salt Lake City this year.

    He aint getting traded imo

there are bars in salt lake city? thought the state was dry.

Maybe that's just Provo and the surrounding area.

If he wants to play, and they want to retool, he'll go.

Rimando's days as a USMNT goalie are done. Hamid is going to take over the token MLS role.

Rimando will deffo be declining, but if you saw RSL games, Rimando's skills will be good for at least another 2-3 yrs.

But is he worth $370K a year? Unless they use TAM...

Talk of Rimando is fanciful. The only way he leaves RSL is if he pushes for it and all the signs there point to no.

If they are gonna target a veteran MLS goalie, it'll be Dan Kennedy.

All I'm saying is RSL is going to retool next season and we are likely looking for a better keeper and we got connections.

    Hey, its speculation.

The other option is we promote Roberts or Bono to start in the hope they live up to their potential. If they don't, we can always fall back on Konopka.

That sounds awfully risky. It would be a lot better to be able to have faith in our keeper, could be the key to a fantastic season with more ties instead of losses.

I'd rather not do another roll the dice move in 2016. If they don't want to pay top MLS $$$ for a Rimando or Kennedy then hit up Scandinavia or lower tier Europe for someone. Not a whole lot cheaper but cheaper for sure.

Speaking of Scandinavia, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing a return of Kenny Stamatopolous. His income was estimated at below 100k a couple years ago and hasn't had too many starts this season with AIK.

Kenny S is 36. and not much of an upgrade over Bendik/Konopka. If we are going shopping for a new GK, he better be way better than Kenny S.

Always felt Kenny was underrated, not cuz he was a Canadian but cuz he played for a crap team (at the time)
