The midfield at Sporting last year was very stacked. Adrien Silva, William Carvalho and Joao Mario made up their midfield last year (all three are portuguese internationals). It was tough for him to find space. He looked really good in the games he played (Cup and league cup matches as well as some matches due to injury/suspensions). They got a new coach and he brought in his own players.
Too bad to see. Alot of Sporting fans liked him and saw potential in him
he was loaned to sporting? sporting is in the business of buy low sell high.
If he was that good, wouldnt they sell him?
The tweet from Kurt Larson had since been removed but pretty damn worrying - about how Morrow is pondering his future recognizing that he has value in the league with his contract expiring.

Article on Morrow is up. Huge loss if we aren't able to lure him to stay with an upgraded contract.
Give him what he wants.
When you bring in good talent, this is what happens.
Getting rid of Bendik and Findley's contracts next year will give this team a lot of cap space. Easy to sign Morrow and fix everything else on the team.
Bringing back Morrow no doubt is the path of least resistance. If it's not broke, don't fix it.
That being said, our style of play would lend itself to someone more attack minded. If they ever figure out how to properly scout defenders I might be tempted to see what we can get on the market.
Morrow might be looking to get more money than TFC are allowed to give him. The CBA allows a 25% increase I believe.
If he has to leave, hopefully it will be overseas. Can see him doing well in Germany.
Rumour of nemanja vidic to mls in winter
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Generally MLS standard player contracts are for 2 years with 2 one year options. Bendik if IIRC signed his new deal 2 seasons ago so it should be an option year this offseason. TFC should be able to turn it down and put him in the re-entry draft. If that's what they want to do.
This may have changed under the new CBA but I think thats how it would work.
I don't think management should pick up the option on Bendik's contract. One of our greatest priorities this off season should be finding a legitimate starting goalkeeper.
The GK situation could use some work. Not really happy with any of them, including the guys at TFC II. Not the top priority but it's on the list.

Was discussing the defensive situation with a friend the other day, Vidic (Non-DP) would be incredible for us to grab off of the market, I'm a United supporter as well and age with Nemanja isn't that bit of an issue... I'd do back flips if we could snag Patrice Evra aswell, but being more realistic I think we need MLS proven players... Enough of these slightly above average forgien players coming in just to underperform. Grab Moor from Colorado, Korb from DCU even Ianni (Fire now I think?) or Evans from Seattle or who ever has MLS proven experiance
I could see Brad Evans becoming available - Seattle is going to do a change over next season.
