odouro for a ball boy, comes in handy when time is precious
List of all RB's with expired contracts. (http://www.transfermarkt.com/spieler...=alle&yt0=Show) Do we have any international slots left? Francesco Pisano doesn't look too bad. Maybe we put morrow in at RB and sign a LB? (http://www.transfermarkt.com/spieler...=alle&yt0=Show)
We have enough left backs. We need a fullback with a right foot
We don't have any good left backs though....
Nah, Morrow is a good left back in this league - you are ok with 3 dominant left footers as full backs? - wouldn't make sense to get another one, and keep Morrow on that right side when he is still better on the left - Morrow is not good at crossing with the right at speed, and will never send in an early cross with the right either, so keeping him there nullifies those options
I agree that Morrow is a good left back, I suggested signing a left back if we played Morrow on the right. I guess that takes me back to Francesco Pisano, I think he would be a good fit on the right (he's right footed btw). Any idea on how many international spots we have left?
Raheem Edwards on TFCII looks a player. Another impressive showing for him in the friendly against Roma's academy team. Worth a look as a cheap depth option for the first team next year.
He's a winger.
If he was signed to TFC II, it would be possible for him to get called up to the first team, but he's just an academy call up. I would love to see how him, and Babouli would do with better talent around them rather than the likes of Lovitz, Delgado or waste of cap Finley.
Next year, they'll have to cut some academy players. That or downgrade to a USL contract.
Drogba will be a beast in MLS the league suits him perfectly. Suppose he will like it in Montreal as well with French being his first language. I guess Montreal will be leading MLS in crosses played
Jaime Penedo waived by LA, I'd move Bendik for Penedo in a heartbeat
@LAGalaxyInsider: BREAKING: #LAGalaxy & @JaimePenedo26 mutually have agreed to part ways. Penedo has officially been placed on waivers. http://t.co/75LhiOLVaK
wooooofffff!!!
It sounds like he doesn't want to play in MLS, so I don't think it matters that he's on waivers. Even if he stays in the league waiver order is determined by current standings so there are plenty of teams ahead of us.
Penedo was only on $135k. Seems like a bargain.
Bendik being on $140k seems excessively generous in this context.
Not sure where you got those numbers but Penedo is on 175k and Bendik is on 150k (base salaries).

So apparently LA is shopping around for a keeper, I'd dump Bendik's salary on them for peanuts or a fullback
Bendik + allocation for Dan Gargan
LA isn't going to take Bendik. They're trying to get Ricketts
Penedo was placed on waivers because he wants to leave
They are going to get Ricketts. Tally Hall has come in and made himself the starter in Orlando.
By all accounts, Peneda wanted out of MLS and this is the time to do that. Probably has some European offers after the Gold Cup.
Arena doesn't care about keepers as long as they don't lose him games.
Columbus have signed Ghanaian RB Harrison Afful. 57 caps for Ghana, he will be taking over the starting RB spot for the Crew. Waylon Francis has sewn up the starting LB spot, and they now have Chad Barson, Hector Jimenez and Chris Klute as fullback depth.
I would take a hard look at Klute. He has never really settled with the Crew since moving from Colorado. 25 years old, can play both LB and RB, and is only on 87k guaranteed according to the recent salary numbers. And he has big upside if he can return to the form we saw from his first MLS season. He ticks a lot of boxes.
Columbus doesn't have a like-for-like replacement for Kamara. Lucky for them he's been healthy so far. I wonder if they would be interested in a swap with Dike.
