Hagglund is def trade bait now since they rate Simonin highly. (also French) Btw do we know when he will be back from injury? Thought it was soon.

Let's keep in mind when they say he was never better than ok in ligue 1, guys like Collin were fighting for playing time in the conference and getting relegated from the portoguese first division before they came to America. ok in ligue 1 is significantly better than what we have to offer here. A triangle of perquis, Kantari and Cheyrou sounds pretty fuckin great.
Hmmmm....Hagglund to Columbus for Chad Barson? Sub for Sub. Columbus is kinda lacking in CD backups IIRC.
Pretty sure Kantari is our most physical player on the pitch now which is great. The guy fits our needs perfectly!
Hagglund and Cash for Toia? Or maybe Cabrera?
Wonder how Bez kept Kantari so quiet from the rest of the league. Have to think there would have been at least a half dozen teams after him if he was on the radar.
Doyle said yesterday that we've been the best FO/orginization for the past year. Keeping this deal under wraps until after he's holding up a jersey is part and parcel of that. At some point we're going to have to face the fact that we're in very, very good hands.
Vanney connection with a Bez sprinkle of making it happen

I suspect new #TFC academy director Laurent Guyot probably had a hand in getting Kantari.
Can i suggest that maybe Vanney got Guyot too?
feel like his Ligue 1 time got him some sort of advantage
Vanney and Guyot have his history from this IIRC http://pressbox.mlssoccer.com/conten...ce-partnership
EDIT: Yup, Vanney was on the course and Guyot was an instructor
Guyot served as an instructor with the French Football Federation (FFF) teaching both the youth pro licence and pro licence coaching programs. Over the past two years, Guyot also served as an instructor for the Elite Formation Coaching Licence (EFCL) program. The program is a partnership between the FFF and Major League Soccer, featuring a 16-month long youth development course, where academy coaches and directors would receive their EFCL licence, equivalent to the FFF’s youth pro licence.

Could be a good signing this fellow. Looks like we have a nice French contingent happening.
Hmmmm....Dijon in Ligue 2 with average attendances of 8708
or
play in Toronto in front of 20K + beside a guy who played for Poland at the World Cup and just behind the ex captain of OM with the chance to pass the ball up to Giovinco.
Heck, Columbus is going to look big league to him.
