So... Nothing yet? Hope things get moving here - we could use the reinforcements in some key areas.
Awfully quiet ...
Suspect that there may be news after the weekend
Bez you need to get a move on it dude. You knew this was coming and had plenty of time to prepare.
Who cares if other teams have done anything or not. Everyone knows we need at least 1 upgrade.
So who would be down with a Luis Gil trade? Could play well off the bench in our diamond
Don't think he's stopped trying but bad coaching. I just think Cassar is screwing the team over big time and the days of him riding Kreis's player foundation are slower coming to an end.
Hey Bez... time to pick up the phone and start dialing.
We need defenders.
If Bendik isn't going to see time on the field then y the fuck is he still on this team?
That's how Konopka started playing in the first place
Looking around the league currently it's worth noting other teams appear to be getting more minutes out of their draft picks than we are. Now given Simonin would probably be in the mix of not for injury and Bono appears to be a long term play... But kinda hurts to see SKC puts enough faith in the 20th pick overall to step in at RB while we are starving for options.

so Darren is off the table but in the long-er term his contract runs out December 22nd around the same time that Caldwell's contract will over. Could be a simple like for like in the offseason
For the life of me, I don't get the ongoing fascination with this guy. He isn't good enough and wants way too much money. At best he was an average defender who had an upside due to his age, but has shown that he has almost 0 growth potential. I wanted to like the guy but he proved to me that he wasn't worth the gamble, yet every time he seems to be available (a lot it seems) he keeps popping up with us because he mentions TFC in every article.
I think there are better defenders out there that can be had for a lot less than what he would be asking here.

Darren loved the city and the team. That was great, it struck up a great affinity with the fans. As an Irishman, it was great to have an Irish international on the team and take to the club and city like he did.
From a playing perspective, we all need to move on.
This is the key for me...
If MLS wasn't a cap league, I'd take him in a heartbeat.
But for the money he would likely cost, he just doesn't bring enough on the field to justify the cap hit.
Now if he really loves TO and decides he wants to sign at a discounted rate, sure.
But I doubt that happens.
