Ecks is a nice guy, I loved his fire.
But despite all the time he spent running forward, he had 2 assists and 0 goals in 72 games played for Toronto FC.

Why do we always assume that players who left because they were on way too much money will come back here for less money now? Both Ecks and O'Dea left because we weren't willing to pay them their current salaries, and neither of them would take a cut.
I hope that anythign we add is again on the defensive end. That is where we need the most help. If we can get rid of Moore or Findley for some additional help at the back that would be great. Gives a guy like Hamilton a chance to play (though i dont' think he's deserved it this year - he was a sub on the TFCII team).
Hopefully we can get someone to take some of our dead weight (Creavalle, Findley, and/or Lovitz) and grab a more stable defensive option at the back.
However, I still think with Bradley and Konopka in the starting line up we don't allow 3-4 goals per match either. Defense is poor but not that poor. Being really inflated by using the wrong GK option. Say what you will, Bendik is better or whatever but the team itself plays better in front of Konopka than Bendik. Has to come down to communication or just confidence. Regardless, it's something and it's obvious.
Oguchi Onyewu maybe? (Would be best to sign him just for 1 season)

Let the speculation commence...
Bright Dike waived.
edit: Might as well, Vanney didn't seem inclined to use him. I'd be surprised if someone is brought in to replace him.

2 week trial which started end of May, looks like they didn't want him. I really think we could and should sign him, I don't think he'll want much money and he should count as a domestic player if I'm not mistaken.

He was training again with them recently, he was spotted in pics of their training sessions. It appears he injured himself and NYCFC moved on.

Former USMNT CB Oguchi Onyewu is no longer an option for NYCFC after picking up injuries in training.[@EmpireOfSoccer on @SoccerMorning]
64K made available! Time to bring in a stud!
Really sucks about his injury issues. His career was looking to be on the rise at the start of last season.
I'm sure Bez tried to look to gain something from moving him, I guess there were no takers.
look at me now...Im making paper.....
at 64k, he could make more as personal trainer, dude's got some serious healing ability (but just as badly injury prone)

It's in Norwegian but translates to basically say Solskjær is in talks to be our next manager! Not exactly sure how reliable this Norwegian newspaper is though.
The information came from his agent.....not going to happen.

Dike spot is either doing it to give the guy a chance or creating a roster spot and getting enough cap to help get somebody else.
Not sure what if anything we would go for.
We don't really know if we used any of the Core DP "$100,000" up that we have to use this or next year right? Could be more of a roster spot and now potentially $164,000 to use tho without knowing the inner workings can't really know. To just get Findley off the books for a buckets of balls would help with the room it would create.
maybe they will sign somebody off the tfc 2 roster like MO-BO..
From what I understand, TAM has to be used to bring a player's salary down to the league max. I don't think it can be used to take a player's cap hit from lets say 300k to 150k. So the only way we could have used it was on Kantari. But we would to have had some 100k of space before Caldwell retired to afford someone at the league max cap hit.
Jackson, Moore, Findley and Creavelle have expiring contracts this year. Winter transfer window might be fun.
