    Well, so far IMO Altidore for Defoe has been an even swap. Both scoring twice on opening day.

    Except that Altidore can hold up the ball like a proper no. 9 and works harder off the ball.

    The article from Kelly is the part that is the biggest worry for me. Defoe I don't think ever really adapted to the press issue. Gio on the other hand at least doesn't speak great English yet, I'm really happy he didn't score that would have been worse for him than the turf I suspect.

    Welcome to MLS get on this plan travel 4000km... play on turf against a team of goons and then afterwards we are going to shove cameras in your face and demand you dance for the media because you did something good.


    Was a great feeling though Findley's second goal was just icing and let me relax.

    I'd call it even if Altidore is still sitting on 2 goals after 7 games, like Defoe currently is.
