Chicago has been on their heels since the opening whistle. No possession and no offense. Don't know if it's nerves but it might be a long year for Fire fans.

Good soccer commentating in North America is a rare thing.
They spend way to much rambling about useless shit.
And when they get excited they sound like teenagers.

Yes, but these guys are often factually way off, much worse than usual even for MLS Live. Making a big deal about the offence getting called for a foul on a corner kick, as if that was very unusual. (The offence gets called for fouls on corners much more often than the defense -- otherwise it would be a penalty kick.) Or calling "great pass" on a totally shanked pass. Etc.

LA in control of the game, but also showing lots of rust on some of their passing.

Agreed, I noticed those same things. They suck.

MLS Livers: Thanks to PopePouri on the giving the tip about using the chrome extension Zenmate.

Use it to log into the game. Once the stream starts turn it off so you get the best stream rate.

TFC game tomorrow has unlocked with it.

LA don't seem to be missing the beat so far, with half their midfield from last season gone.

Zardes shoots when he should pass.

And passes when he should shoot.

Spanish first, English second. They are mimicing what they do on the main channel.

After 5 minutes, I turned the sound off.

Chicago is spending some more time in LA's half but they can't seem to penetrate the box. I think the Fire would be happy with 0-0 draw.

And Chicago......just ain't that good. Yallop's tactics are poor. HUGE hole between their back line and the midfield. LA only not scoring because of rust.

I have hope for points on April 4.

There are so many quotes from the first half that would illustrate the complete lack of skill these commentators have. Unbelievably bad. I actually get embarrassed by it.

Actually on the replay it looks like Keane meant to let that ball continue, but he redirected it just enough to put Zardes off.

What a dire match. A poor choice for what a showcase game ought to be. Chicago are awful, LA is profligate.

I'm watching the UMas stream with what must be the same commentators.

"The 50th percentile of the green rectangle" - did I really hear that ? Oh, Hey.. it's Rachel now.

    arrgghh...

Brutal commentary. The guy sounded like he was going to cum in his pants every time LA touched the ball. "Magnificent effort!" He' d say after another half-shot screwed twenty yards to the left.

    Brutal.

This game is awful so far. What the hell was that? Jones had four offensive players running into the box and he blasts it from thirty yards.

Chicago is so undisciplined. No one overlapping when they're dominating in the offensive zone, Palmer (who has skill) coming in way late.

Yallop is a shit coach, he really is.

Yeah, I think from now on for Friday games, I'll stick to the Spanish commentary. These guys are brutal.
