Wow Bendik just got enough to hold that ball... Could have been a nightmare there.

Defending has been unconscionable. Could be 3 or 4 against.

He has to adjust. Got away with a lot in the preseason but regular season won't be as forgiving.

Of all the MLS games we've seen this season, this is by far the best. Both teams when they move into the opposing half are technically very very good.

    Our defence though.........ugh.

Its the midfield that sucks not Caldwell or the defence. They are letting Vancouver waltz in whenever they want

His passing is accurate, but his decision making is slow, and he's trying to use trickery to find more space under pressure instead of making a quick pass. I feel like he needs to play further back and let Bradley play further up.

I agree our midfield turning the ball is cause of the problem, but Caldwell has been easily beat few times already. Given Caldwell's lack of speed, he's pretty much a liability out there.

Vancouver is a one trick pony.. it is just that trick is very effective against Toronto.

We are constantly dangerous though... both teams should be at two.. this is a heart attack inducing game but it is crazy.

Bradley has been bad in terms of not being disciplined enough as DM. he makes too many stupid runs forward and getting caught, leaving 2 slow CBs exposed by pace of Caps attackers.
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

This. Bradley needs to stop being superman, just play your role and trust your teammates to do their job.

Caldwell's lack of speed has been exposed, but let's be honest here, Vancouver has one of the fastest offences in the MLS.
They are going to give every single MLS defence fits all season.

    Absolutely love this game.

$100 CND for MLS live has been well worth it in only 45 minutes of game.
