The endzones are on pallets - there's a good video here that shows how they change from Giants to Jets and vice-versa

Maybe but let's not forget that this conversation started with Grey Cups and Winter Classics and it was started publicly by Tim Leiweke... who at the time had no stake in the CFL team.
Stadium expansion... on a stadium they didn't own... was done on MLSE's initiative. Likely taking advantage of a climate of public funding for the Pan Am games, the Argos situation at the Rogers Center and the financial reality that their owner wasn't going to be able (or willing) to build a new stadium. It came together nicely for them.
And if you end up blaming the Argos for this move, all the better for MLSE. Their PR department deserves a good bonus.
Apparently TL said to north stands aren't totally toast:
said yesterday: "Seats in the north stand will have to be reconfigured, with several retractable rows installed. The first seven or eight rows in the south stand will also have to be converted into retractable, removable seats to have space for the longer field"
I don't think he actually made those comments - that's the reporter writing that

edit: in fact - it's basically a "reporter" transcribing the video of Larson touring around BMO with TL
Wonder if there will be new renders at the presser this afternoon.
Jeez this club and ownership really knows how to make us question why the fuck we bother.
This might get buried if Babcock gets signed to the Leafs today.
Supposedly their charter is going to Detroit today for a pick up and for only about 2 minutes: http://flightaware.com/photos/view/3...crafttype/GLF4
And through actually reading it fully, someone from Detroit flew here on the 9th for most of the day before returning. After seeing Babcock met with the Sabres yesterday, the timing might be right for this to happen.
