For TFC, yes.
For the Argos?
Nope.
Currently on and I see hundreds of seats left in those sections.
15607 left around the stadium. Good for them if they have sold 15K. BUT, I doubt it.
Looking at the seats available, its interesting how in almost every single section, the seats to the right are the ones not available. That tells me they are using software to randomise availability.
Does anybody think people buy into sections like this?
Like, all power to the Argos for selling seats but there are blocks upon blocks upon blocks left. People usually pick the middle or the aisles on either side. Where tickets are left is just too darn consistent.
We'll see.

i look at this and it looks like your looking a section with multiple price points (maybe this due to the field offset). Obviously the cheaper section seats are gone first. i think i saw one section with 6 price points earlier this year when they showed their prices
You could be paying X and sitting right next to someone paying $200 more a season which isn't really fair

looks to me like they expanded the navy or light blue section into 209. where it cuts into the section is the same.
look across at 220. 6 price differences. I totally don't agree with difference prices within a section its not fair to your customers ... $300 price difference within a section.

Uh, you keep this up and you will begin to REALLY sound like an Argo apologist.
There is nothing here to defend.
209 is 3 bands horizontally. Nothing split.
Argos are holding back seats.
209 is not 220.
I don't think he's trying to stick up for the Argos here, more point out the apparent ridiculousness of the pricing.
He points out that in section 220, there are five different packages available to a potential buyer: silver A, silver B, navy A, navy B and light blue. The most expensive of these packages
costing $499 and the cheapest priced at $199. His point being that someone might be paying $300 less than someone else sitting in very close proximity within the same section.
Welcome to the boards, Stokeci.
Og was being facetious. Hence the emoji. There are very few apologists who want to talk Argos in here.
Here's a new twist:
Looking at the not-so-mad dash to Argos tickets it looks like BMO Field will return to be another Scalper hot spot. It's not like they ever went away but it was getting better with less of the scum around.

FORMER FULL TIME KOOL-AID DRINKER
I am a season seat holder to both teams in section 220.
For the Argos -- I am paying $199 to sit in seat 15/16 in the upper rows and the person beside me in seat 17 is paying $399 (there are 5 prices in 220 I believe) --- so while they may be holding seats back, it might also be the case that customers are finding the cheaper price points and buying the seats on the border of the more expensive seats (like I did!) ---- they have banded pricing both by row and by seat numbers within the row (which is nuts to me!!). In Section 220, Row 18 and up was cheaper, and seats 1-(15)16 were cheaper still.....so if you are sitting in row 18 seat 15 you are paying less (and a different price) to both the seats in the row in front of you and the people beside you.....I am afraid of TFC doing this so I hesitated to move my seats down a few rows this year in fear that I might screw myself in terms of price point in the future just to be a few rows closer.....

So I had 5 minutes to burn and did this - nearly 16,000 seasons still available as of right now
based on this map and page
https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/arg...details/16FS11
and based on a capacity of 27,600 - they've sold about 11,900 ST
Yes - I'm wondering if those deposits have been counted as a "sold" seat
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
Word is that a number of seats are being held in reserve from each section. 16k seats may be available but more than likely only 22k seats or so being marketed right now, leaving about 6k sold and 4k in reserve. Time will tell.
that doesn't really prove if they've been sold or held back
You know there's an Argos thread under "All Sports Talk" section, right? Who cares how many of season tickets they have sold especially when you consider this is Grey Cup year where Argos SSH get a chance to buy Grey Cup tickets before anyone else.
Banter people...this is all banter.
I'm telling you that a whole load of seats that line up on one side of almost every single section means stuff is being held back.
You can't tell me you think those seats in red to the right are all sold, like that. Lining up all like that?
I take everything back - you are right and I am wrong
