i gather if the argos move in they will remove the north stand?
so that will decease the seating by 500 to 1000?
Yes or no depending who you talk to.
For an example, Bob Hunter (MLSE executive) said he's going to get rid of north stand and build a stage to host concerts (lol) while others (with inside sources) say current north stand will be replaced with retractable stands.
If they get rid of North Stand, then I feel really bad for season ticket holders who have seats in the north end. They will be scrambling to find decent seats for decent price in other stands.
Starting to look nice!
I wonder of they are going to do anything to the backside of the upper tier to make it less exposed
THF did something like this
drove by on my way in to work.
the place was crawling with workers.
Really looking forward to finally seeing our second home after seeing all the progress that has been made through all the great pics that have been posted. Thanks

Holy crap - the east stand is huge!!!
From the side and front the stand looks really huge - and it is. But when in there and looking at it from pitch level it really takes on this weird slope and disappears a bit.
All new dynamics now though.

From ground level it really does seem like it towers over the pitch.
EDIT: I had the exact opposite reaction, Phil. I was down there for a Marlie playoff game a couple of weeks ago and from looking in at the pitch from the South West corner, it really felt like it towered over the ptich.
It looks taller than the West stand...is that correct?
straight on, yes. But I took some pics from the south end and it looks flatish. Maybe its just the pictures because being there, it felt somewhat overwhelming.
Its very much taller than the west stand. Profile wise it looks very unbalanced, but I think the roof will give it the definition it needs.

I see they opened up two of the lower bowl tunnels to the second-level concourse. Wonder if they will have the others ready or of they will do them later?
I really wish the would fill in the gaps on the corners with more seats. I guess the lopsidedness of the 4 sections makes it unique?
And add more seats to the south.
The stadium is going to look awkward until the roof is installed. The stands are far too asymmetric.
I personally care the most about the atmosphere inside the stadium and I'm pretty sure we're going to make it a good one!!!!
