Its unfortunate that you both feel this way.

I guess having like minded people be put in the supporters section to drive the atmosphere higher isnt a priority for some i guess.

Hopefully you both enjoy your new seats and help out in creating a new atmosphere in your sections! I know there's alot of people moving in that are anxious to get going.

I'm not going to hijack the thread but that's not even close to what I'm saying. Going from row 1 to row 6-7 blows and the fact the team didn't do anything remotely significant to make that right blows even more.

When looking at the renderings, and interactive seat selection for seasons, there appeared to be new access tunnels on the east side upper rows from the lower bowl to the new second level concourse. Sect 111 row 21-28, shows first six seats of each row removed and opening to second level concourse.

Does it appear that this is happening? Or will we still have to funnel out to the bottom? I don't see anything in any of the photos here that would indicate this.

I don't think they'll take too long. I know nothing of construction.

Which, given the amount of work they had to get accomplished and the winter we had, really isn't that bad.

As long as the main areas of use by the public are 99% done, I'd say its a successful reno schedule MLSE had.

I honestly hate designated seating in the supporter section. It should always be general admission.

You'd get people moaning at that, too. Even though it would improve the atmosphere x100. "I've been here since year one blah blah"

Another trip to BMO tonight. One week left. LOTS left to do. A bunch of the gates were open but only saw a couple of workers still there at 9pm.

Everything is pretty much ready for our home opener. Some areas of fine work may not be done but will not interfere or hinder the fan experience come the 10th.
Remember that this is phase 1 of 2. It will not be all sparkly clean and polished 100% after the first phase.
Some small detail work on phase 1 could continue over the next months.
The question that has been asked and answered is....Will the stadium be "ready" come May 10th and the answer is yes. It will be "ready". That does not mean finished.

the stadium will be open on May 10.
as others have said.
some of the "fine" work is still on going.
but they have got so much done recently.
and they are cleaning up the site (all the pallets, and scrap materials, etc)

Just drove around BMO.... Total number of cars in the parking lot: 3. I guess they're confident they're going to finish. I'll reiterate the person above - ALOT of work is left. ALOT.
edit: wouldn't be surprised if this year's home opener goody is a TFC hard hat.

it was very busy.

Apart from tearing down the staging on the East side, I don't see a lot of work left.

they are just going to put down asphalt at the new Gate 3.
and it has been leveled.

Things are happening fast.

The stadium will be ready to host our opener, but there is no way the stadium project will be complete for Sunday looking at those pics. There will be inconveniences getting around the stadium for some people on Sunday I can almost guaranteed that.

Even if they don't finish everything, we will still have a ton of fun at the game!!! Either way it's going to be awesome!!! They will finish up the minor details soon enough for anyone to even notice. Enjoy the game everybuddy!!!

I would expect a couple washrooms to be closed and an elevator or two. Lets remember that this place is going to be under a phased reno for the entire year as they ramp up for the roof / lights and new sound installation.

I was in the stadium last night, not allowed to check the concourses, but walking around the south it all looked good. The east stand is getting the guardrails installed shortly and looks to be on track. The elevator on the west side is not anywhere close to done.

I should have new schematics for the new gates today or tomorrow.
