Does anyone know if the major drainage problems on the west-side concourse are being fixed during the reno? The angle of the floor over there was all wrong. When it rained, the water would pool where spectators walk, and where the vendors have to stand. (Seems like grounds for a WSIB complaint. I can't imagine standing in cold water for a couple of hours while doing my job -- not out of essential necessity of the job, but because of faulty construction.)

Also, does anyone know if they will be insulating all pipes against frost damage, and putting heat into the washrooms? (Overhead radiant heat that can only run off & on doesn't count.)

Stadium pics are cool but still looks fairly unfinished to be ready for the masses on May 10 but what do I know. I ain't in the construction biz. Maybe since they have to work on it next year they may leave some of it unpolished for this year.

as for 114/116 I am beginning to feel that the tunnel entrances that were supposed to be removed and covered with seats may now stay and they will simply fill in the front 4-5 rows in front of 114/116.

I only say that because that is the simplest and quickest thing to do. Plus in the end TFC would only lose about 15-20 of the additional seats they wanted to put in.

How are the concourses going to work on the East stand?
Are both upper deck and lower deck crowds supposed to jam onto the same concourse? Is the ground level concourse going to remain, or is it all sealed off now?

Just by looking at the pictures it looks as if the upper level will have its own concourse, suites will have their own concourse, and lower level will have its own concourse that is connected to the new concourse elevated behind the south end. There will be a 420 person club on the ground level as well. Not sure if ground level is open to the general public still.

In this rendering you can make out the 3 levels above ground, and ground level.

Level 3 upper concourse, level 2 suite concourse, level 1 lower concourse connected to south and west concourse, ground level club.

if this weather holds (which it is calling for)
May 10 is going to be fine.

they are doing fine work, like grading the areas that were rough looking.
they are doing more concrete work.

they have started on the new seats in 114 and 116.

Looking great. I had planned to miss the first half the season but the earthquake may force me home early. Could be home for the opener.

I'm still not impressed how they dealt with those seats and the priority of who got them. Some of us went from having front row seats to now being in the middle (sort of) of the section without being given a proper offer to move straight down......but anyway....bring on May 10th and we'll see how it goes.

Its unfortunate that you both feel this way.

I guess having like minded people be put in the supporters section to drive the atmosphere higher isnt a priority for some i guess.

Hopefully you both enjoy your new seats and help out in creating a new atmosphere in your sections! I know there's alot of people moving in that are anxious to get going.

I honestly hate designated seating in the supporter section. It should always be general admission.

When looking at the renderings, and interactive seat selection for seasons, there appeared to be new access tunnels on the east side upper rows from the lower bowl to the new second level concourse. Sect 111 row 21-28, shows first six seats of each row removed and opening to second level concourse.

Does it appear that this is happening? Or will we still have to funnel out to the bottom? I don't see anything in any of the photos here that would indicate this.

I spoke with my rep a couple of weeks ago and they mentioned that the new exits will be around Row 26, I'm not sure if they will have the lower exits as well? Maybe.

Being in row 23 of 105 having a exit right at the end of my aisle will be nice, making it easy to get out.
