This is completely unnecessary. Anyone is free to comment on topic. It would be helpful to use less sarcasm.
And may I remind everyone that I started this thread to alleviate complaints of unnecessary comments and convo when just pics were wanted.
Thanks to Wags latest , btw.
So if everyone here wants to discuss anything other than pics of the stadium feel free to in another thread.
I won't be starting a second "Pics only" thread.

The creator of this thread thanks you for your subscription. As you can see, this topic or pictures of this topic is irresistible to user comment. I think unless there was a specific thread mod you're going to have to deal with this issue (that you've contributed several times now btw)
FORMER FULL TIME KOOL-AID DRINKER
Man, this company has a culture of chest-thumping. Nobody there can ever let actions speak for themselves.
This is what a company with a healthier culture does when they are up against it. They don't go running to the media to make pronouncements.

I apologize for being part of the derailment of the Pics only thread.
I will go take some more pics this weekend.
the reason i take so many pics...this is the view from my couch.
in case you can't make it out, that's BMO behind the Direct Energy Centre.
according to RunKeeper it is 900m to my seats from my place (or 1 tall can)

Well that saves me having to post my pics from today. She's looking more and more like the renderings.
All these pics make me so home sick. Ugh.

Holy crap. Really puts into perspective how huge Toronto has become. About the stadium, I haven't seen it in person yet but does the east side look awkwardly large versus the west side now?
ontario place still wasting away.
That wonderful pic raises a few questions/observations.
- I love seeing the outline of the old stadium visible in the parking lot to the south of the present stadium.
- Everything I know about CNE future plans I have gained from reading the RPB forum over the years (ok, I read other things too). I recall that the CNE was proposing a development east of the stadium running south to Ontario Place. Sort of a plaza or a boulevard, maybe a boulevard turning into a plaza-like bridge going over the Lakeshore. Is this still on the table? Does the recent funding/political split between CNE and City of Toronto help or hinder such development?
- You would think that a refresh of the Food Building would be considered too. With or without MLSE wanting to extend BMO Field northwards (for whatever reasons), will that Food Building be there forever?
Wow, the Toronto downtown is huge. With all the towers going up we'll have skyscrapers stretching from the Lake to North of Bloor!
Here is another pic I found on twitter.

went by today.
lots of workers doing different things.
not a lot to report on since the weekend.
interesting that the new scoreboard/jumbotron is double sided.
still nothing with regards to the new rows in 114 & 116
I stand by my belief that we'll be fine for May 10.
I have a feeling that the new rows in front of 114/116 are pre-fabricated and will be installed in similar fashion to the new East deck, then the seats screwed on afterwards.
as for the the modification in terms of the tunnels that are to be replaced for the extra seats that adds as well, that is the interesting part to see unfold.
