That Chris Young article is so ignorant....at least if you know anything about sports business and football. Good for the pessimistic masses out there though and there are lots of them. I hear it from lots of people who don't watch soccer but still feel like they can have a negative opinion towards Toronto FC because maybe they can piss someone off who cares about the team.
Articles is saying since they are starting on the road and currently in training camp he is saying they might as well be on Mars (the way I read it anyway, hard to read article). Maybe for the average non-soccer enthusiast person in the city which I guess this is written for. Also, MLSE spends millions on Giovinco and they are supposed to just sneak him through the side door in the writer's opinion?....not try to market the team or sell tickets? Article was poorly written in my opinion and I don't usually chime in about articles but this one was just pure ignorance in my opinion.
