Hygiene?
would "colgate" or "degree" be that horrible?

Regardless of who it turns out to be, I won't be purchasing one any time soon. Especially not for the crazy prices they charge at the beginning of the season.
Still have plenty of old jerseys to wear, and, it's about the crest...not the sponsor, anyways.

TFC should use Giovinco to their advantage and reach out to Italian brands that want to increase their product sales in North America. i.e. Nutella, Barilla, Kimbo, Lavazza, illy, Sanpelligrino, geox, etc

Think of the lulz, man.
I'm reminded of Homer rejecting other boy-names because of what they rhyme with, and then choosing to go with "Bart."
I thought so, yeh.. what with them not being a globally recognizable brand and all.
I guess I just thought a more minimalist approach possible with them being part owners, as well (darling-deal, of sorts)
I'm old school. I want a wealthy corporation or a well known brand of beer to be our sponsor.
I really like the new shirt for its simplicity and timelessness. It's great. NEEDS to have a sponsor and i wonder when that will be announced, but it's one of the nicer shirts we have ever had.
A massive improvement over last season's.
The question wasn't about whether or not Rogers is likely to be named as shirt-sponsor. The question was, "SHOULD they (Rogers) be named, is the example given at all imaginable?"
It were bandied about as a possibility for awhile, with mock-ups to go along with it; whilst I have always agreed that it's not too likely, given the current ownership situation, from a more design-angled perspective, I was curious about the idea of simplifying the logo—a concept translatable to other possible brands, as well.
I'm not massively opposed to Pizza-Pizza. It sure beats Bimbo!
But gosh, is their logo ever tired and ugly ... looks like something from the 1980s.
I'd sooner see something like Kia, Rogers, Coca-Cola (thinking Red here ...). At least Kia (and BMO) are short ...
Beggars can't be choosers. You think there's a line of companies out there wanting to sponsor TFC? The whole point of shirt sponsor is get money so club can invested in player signings and other expense that will benefit club. We should be glad there's even a company out there wanting to become shirt sponsor despite lack of success on the field.
Is BMO withdrawing jersey sponsorship, but retaining sponsorship of the stadium? Has that been made clear? I don't recall reading it anywhere, but all the focus does seem to be on the jersey.
What about Metro? They're already affiliated with the club, they've got the money, and their simple logo would look nice and clean.
I would take Metro over Pizza Pizza
Better yet - why not a Canadian company like Crown Royal, Crystal Head Vodka, or any beer company

Crown Royal is owned by a British consortium.
Yeah, I read the article on Waking the Red and I'm not buying it. If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on KIA.
To be honest, Pizza Pizza doesn't look horrible, and I can think of MANY worst companies to slap on our shirts, but it wouldn't be in my top ten if I were calling the shots.
Did the USA , of all countries, just fix soccer? - C. Ronaldo, May 27th commenting on the FBI-led investigations into fraud and corruption throughout FIFA.
Jeez, is anything Canadian owned anymore?
