I would highly doubt any bank logo will be seen while BMO has the naming rights to BMO Field. The only exception to this is that you will see Scotiabank stuff during the Gold Cup games as they are title sponsor for CONCACAF Champions League and the Gold Cup.

(full disclosure, I work for Scotiabank, and in the same dept as the sponsorship people, but I have no inside knowledge. I didn't even know about the CONCACAF thing until the press conference!).

That being said, I am happy I don't have to have a competitor's logo on a jersey this year, if I choose to buy a new one!

I really like the jersey. It reminds me of national team jerseys with the solid colour and no sponsor. Spain comes to mind.

CIBC I will never wear! Have very good reasons for this dating back years ago when they tried to screw me out of a few thousand dollars. I'll wear my old jerseys until they rot before I ever wear something with those bastards on it.

This was a lot more personal. Actually had to involve Waterloo Regional Police. Fortunately got the money back, closed my CIBC account the next day. Vowed never to have anything to do with them again. So, anything but CIBC for me.

i wonder if Air Canada would see this as a good opportunity. I know porter is currently used by the team for MTL, NYC, NE trips but AC seems logical as it flies the team to all the other MLS cities that the team goes to.

Seems to to make the most sense for both parties in my own opinion.

Not sure about that; probably has more to do with the empty space. Fill it with something—club related, even—and I suspect no one is clamouring for a sponsor logo.

If they keep them blank you can place a vinyl print of anything on it now for example the rpb symbol personally I prefer clean jersey coming from the Portuguese league that has at least 3 sponsor logos on the kit

Yep. Pizza Pizza is known as being the ultra cheap cardboard crap you eat when you're broke as fuck. Doesn't quite align with our big spender mentality.
