Great podcast on the draft from a TFC perspective. The guy thinks we will go with Bono too and likely has scouted Syracuse extensively, given the Canadians on that squad (Skylar Thomas and Jordan Murrell).

They've been profiling a number of potential picks throughout the offseason.
Also Thomas is a local kid likely to be drafted by a Canadian team. Big guy, has a good head on his shoulders by all accounts, and some wheels. Not sure he's worth a 1st rounder but we'll see.

Realistically, the best Union fans should hope for Thursday is for the team to trade up into Toronto's 9th or 11th spot,

This one is a bit unique, since they actually run it like a real draft, with bloggers from each team making the selections as they go.

TFC end up with the following:
1st Round:
6. Toronto FC - Leo Stolz, M, UCLA
9. TFC - Alex Bono, GK, Syracuse
11. TFC - Romario Williams, F, Central Florida
Stolz and Bono seem to appear as TFC selection in most mock drafts I've seen, but this is the first place I've seen them taking Williams.
2nd Round:
29. TFC - Adam Montague, F, Michigan State
37. TFC - Dennis Castillo, D, Virginia Commonwealth

Bono has been unanimous with all the mock drafts I've read.
All the mock drafts assume people don't trade picks.
Enjoyable fun but reality is going to be a bit different.

But they also just loaned out MacMath to Colorado, leaving them with only Blake and M'Bolhi on their roster.
And M'Bolhi didn't exactly inspire confidence in making some crucial mistakes towards the end of last season.

How many goalkeepers do they need?
I get this feeling that Bono will be taken before the 9th pick, seeing as he is a GA and seems like others rate him with his call-up to the US National Team camp.
Not sure if this was posted yesterday but I just saw it today. Doesn't inspire me with confidence now that I am looking at the current state of the team a little closer. First time I ever really looked at a list of our players and their positions. Really hoping some moves happen soon so at least we don't have to hear that certain players didn't have a full preseason so therefore we started slow. Hard enough that we have to start so many games on the road.

I really can't see the Union bringing in another keeper. Harrisburg (USL Pro) has three keepers, two are young, and they also have the USMNT U17 keeper Silva.
So, who'd folks pick if it was up to them?
I'd go with Bono (though I am afraid what that might do to Quillian Robert's development), Fatai Alashe, Boyd Okwuonu, Skyler Thomas

I don't know why'd we take a keeper. We have three already and the team seems pretty high on our youngest, Roberts.
Rumors that Issey has either been traded or has left Impact and the league for good. Sad for Issey to not be able to stay at a club for more than a season.

Has never been settled anywhere not surprising. Big reason i was never big on getting him here at all.
