Default MLS to Hold Lottery for Young Player

From a great MLS blog - WVH Hooligan .....

    http://wvhooligan.com/2008/07/22/gua...ery/#more-1338

Looks like Bruno Guarda has signed with MLS and MLS will hold a weighted lottery for his rights. Weighted position is based on record over the last 30 games in the past... with TFC's inept play scoring them the top spot per another blog http://usasoccer.blogspot.com/2008/0...a-lottery.html. He is a solidly rated player, is from Brazil originally and would likely have been a 1st round draft pick. If we were to win his rights then surely TFC will be expected to trade his rights to FC Dallas at a reasonable price (conditional draft pick?) given how we obtained Ibee from them.

Dallas did ok out of the deal.. a conditional draft pick and 50% of the transfer fee if he is sold.

Does Dalas have any forwards (who can score) laying around?

....and the winner is/was................the Colorado Rapids.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports
