I think his game is a lil similar but GIO is (from what i remember of deco) a lot quicker and isn't as good a passer as deco was. If you guys like guys that can take on there man 1vs1 and has a lot of lil moves, he is fun to watch...and for any slow CB or overally aggresive d-men, he will take them to school
watch how many free kicks in dangerous spots we get...Bradely IMO has been pretty bad in his FK last year, id expect GIO to take some and not sure how good Alti is at FK

The article is Dutch not French
De Jong being from the GTA is interesting, but remember every agent in europe is going to use us and the other big spending MLS clubs as leverage.
today is the last day of the transfer window no?
Last day with Gilberto on the books?
If they are selling Gil outside of the league then a few of the options close over the next few days (Mexico, Europe) not sure when the Brazilian league window closes though.
Wasn't Gilberto going to CR Vasco da Gama? I'm thinking they are trying to time it so they announce it when Giovinco arrives, as to not have any lows in PR.
More specifically, MLS in the U.S.
From my understanding, the article mentions only that he was born in Newmarket. Where MdJ is quoted about his lil 3yo daughter not seeing her grandparents often, was in response to possibly moving (back?) to a Dutch club. So, I gather from that... his parents now live in The Netherlands, possibly Valkenswaard? I'm guessing that because in the intro, MdJ was referred to as a Valkenswaard native but born in Canada. Also Valkenswaard is fairly close to PSV Eindhoven.
P.S. Hello everyone! My first post :-D

He's too much of a traditional winger. He either has to convert to a spot in the 3 man midfield (likely only possible if gio plays in the FW spot) or take the LB role.
Intricate runs and combination play are not his forte, which is what we'll be looking for from the two guys playing off altidore.
very good player, don't see the fit without some turnover.
Thank You! About time I gave back.
Thank you! Took me long enough to sign up considering how long this site has been on my home screen.
P.S. It could also be that MdJs baby mama is also Dutch (she's speaks it) and maybe he was referring to her parents instead or both sets.
