Hopefully more tubs of vaseline. I think we're all getting pretty raw at this point.

I'm expecting / hoping for another toque... I've gotten great wear out of most of the free toques from seasons past...
Either that or a bottle of Jack Daniels - that keeps us warm & numbs the pain at the same time...

Yeah, I figured it might be a toque. The JD would definitely numb the pain. You'd think after the guarantee...make that "THE GUARANTEE" they could come up with something else. That said, there is still a 1 % chance we could make the post season (according to the experts) and I'm damn well clinging to it!!!

I don't think this directly counts but RealSports tweeted this out "Headed to @BMOField for the @torontofc game this Saturday? @RealSports Apparel will have $30 jerseys, $5 player tees and more great deals!" I have a feeling its mostly Defoe product but if you can get a jersey of a any team for $30 it cant be that bad. I am assuming its our current home jersey as it is going to change this year. I don't know, I guess we will see.

The most annoying part.
Hopefully they don't give away toques to anyone with Montreal Impact colours otherwise we will see them thrown, on the ground or even in the toilet. I am sure some traveling fans may actually want it as a souvenir but that may only be a minority of their fans. TFC fans should be getting them only...they only have so many to give out. I went to an away game at NYRB and they were giving the fans some nice NYRB drawstring backpacks but they wouldn't give me one because I had on a TFC shirt. I just wanted it as a souvenir for my trip but I understood as well being an away fan. Hopefully the people handing them out get some rules regarding this.
Would have made for a perfect compliment to my where's waldo costume if not for the logo. Waldo can't be bought or sold.
I would imagine any and everything "BMO" branded will be on heavy discount as well.
No touques for impact fans better be the way... Don't want any lit on fire, pissed on etc
Fan appreciation for me would be for them to show us some youth development bring up some academy kids.

I was thinking the same thing, but, I'm pretty sure they will be enterring the stadium together (one would hope with a security escort) at a specified time. So, SHOULD be easy to differentiate between them and us.
I can't believe they play without keeping score now... It's pathetic...

This kind of shi, gets me angry, they can stick their fan appreciation up their fucking ass, win some meaningful games, that is how you show appreciation to the fans. Fuck all these marketing/PR gimmicks.

I see where you are coming from, though. Many years of frustration takes it's toll.
I think the best fan appreciation the TEAM could provide would be to come out without Bradley and Hagglund, and, show some guts and determination (which both of them have) and pull out a victory over Montreal. Then do the same against New England. These two matches will show who wants to be there.
