    Default I love John Carver

He was my favorite coach and I remember his fights with MLS officiating and MLS control as a whole. I have followed him since and he's doing great as assistant manager back at newcastle united. He has alot of experience but even more passion for his team and the game in general. We thought he had rows over here with officials but over theyre he's back into the thick of english bulldog football lol

I wish coaches and managers like this were over here, but here MLS owns all teams and a guy like john carver is not welcome.

Carver has made some statements that could be interpreted as interest in coming back to MLS. But, unfortunately, the things that made him crazy before are still a big feature of MLS matchdays (mainly diabolical reffing).

He was a TFC game this season. Saw him in the GO tunnel and some of us started to sing a song for him. Classy guy.

I always thought he was a total nutter, but maybe that's what you want in this job. I read this a few days ago, made me think of Carver

I've always been a big fan of Carver. He was an angry guy at times who clashed with the league and it's refs - and probably the MLSE board from time to time, but we got to see some pretty memorable games during his tenure. Like beating LA both home and away that season and the big 3-1 victory against NY on the road.

    "LET IT BE"?

I do remember something about him saying he would love to come back to TFC , around the Nelsen firing.
