I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Disappointed Oso isn't going, plus apparently one or both of Henry and Morgan might stay too. It's a decent lineup though, and a good test against Jamaica.

Declined it. RT @ArmenBedakian: Don't understand how Jonathan Osorio doesn't get a call up. Ridiculous. #TFC #CanMNT

So without Osorio we contribute nothing of importance other than Henry. 4 players that don't get playing time. (Bekker, Morgan, Roberts, Dero)

I don't want to bring up the club vs. country debate but for the first Canadian MLS team that made an academy a few years ago (Is that even run the way it was created?) it's pretty sad that TFC does little for the CMNT.

Hmmmmm….I wonder why he's not playing with the CMNT. I have negative guesses but I'm totally biased on the reason so I won't mention it. LOL

I hope he comes out with why he's not going.

I can imagine TFC lobbied hard against having 6 players go so maybe they said here are 5 we are keeping Osorio (the best aside from Henry in the bunch). Henry is the only starter we are loosing but with the injuries at the back we are having this is not good.

But this game is being played in Toronto and TFC don't have game next day. So I don't see how it would be bad for Osorio to play for Canada in Toronto is a bad thing. But then again, this isn't first time Nelsen/TFC FO and CSA clash with each other (Similar thing happen last year as well).

Anyway, I got my tickets for this game. Hopefully weather is nice and Canadian supporters outnumber Jamaicans for this game.

They would still miss the game next weekend at Philly.

Remember when Nelsen chewed out the CSA last year for calling up a bunch of our guys when we needed them? Osorio not going now is the result of that. And I'm damn happy about it, we need him badly and this isn't an important game for the national team. Good on the CSA and TFC for working something out this time.

TFC has done more for the national team than the other canadian MLS clubs. Montreal is picking up their slack lately with developing young Canadians, it's Vancouver that is doing almost nothing.

Nice to see there is only 3 members of Unattached FC being called up.

You probably see him in Canada's next game which will be in Panama.

Nelsen should chew MLS for not respecting international calendar.

They're training in Toronto at TFC practice facility, so I fail to see how they will miss Philly game. If anything, Osorio can join Canada camp after Philly game to get couple of days of practice before Jamaica game.

Its not necessary to have every NT player at a friendly.

Notice we are not missing Bradley.

Hmm... why are TFC bench players even on the national team radar?

Bekker was the golden boy of the previous generation of youth players. They're really not keen on giving up on him.

De Ro is always gonna get called up 'cuz he's De Ro.

such is the state of our NT.

Lineup aside it will be great to watch the homeland live again. It will be interesting to see who they start and if they can finally get a win at home.

Why the hell are TFC letting key players miss important games for a friendly international game? With our injuries in defense this is ridiculous.

There hasn't been a home game since arguably the biggest disappointment in our country's soccer history, there is something to be said for winning one at home for optics.

It's fair to say it is important to both teams.
